“Always well stocked, prices are competitive . Variety of goods is a little limited because store is small but they are well stocked, employees are pleasant, store is clean . Lines can be long but employees open registers to ease the wait usually. They do good job here abd serve their community well”

“I've been in the store a couple of times however I waited to try the food before I compiled my review. I love everything about this place honestly. Its clean, no flashy nonsense, no noisy bar. Just a take out counter, a friendly woman and a paper menu. They spoke enough English they made it easy to understand the food and the order, and even if they didn't It wouldn't bother me. We ordered some tacos. I had a couple steak tacos and I tried a beef tongue taco. The brought out chips and had three different salsas. The food is outstanding and the prices are good. On the way out I picked up some chilis for something I was cooking at home. Total was $33, and I threw in a fiver for a tip. No frills, great food, a simple quiet meal amongst friendly people. Its a grand slam.”

“I am SO happy that the kitchen is back open! The food off the grill at Sloan's Market has been, as always will be a Middletown local favorite.
Especially with the affordable prices that come with a combo, I was able to walk in, put in my order, and have my food ready by the time I got done walking around the store purchasing my usual snacks and beverages. All the while I was being provided resturatunt quality service, offering to have my Gyro prepared with all the works, an extra tzatziki sauce AND fresh-hot lemon pepper French fries! 10/10 and will be EVEN MORE frequent of a customer than I already am just to get lunch at my local corner store! So, so very glad!
And icing on the cake, for an entire bag full of drinks and chips, a box of lunch, and two incense sticks for all under $20 in only about 10 minutes between walking in & out the door!”

“About as authentic as it gets. It’s very hard to find menudo and lengua/tripa tacos, and boy do they have it. Go with a Spanish speaker if possible, they CAN communicate, but having a bit of help never hurt. Legitimately some of the best Mexican food you’ll find around here.”
“I love this little place. When I was shifting jobs, they cashed my work checks that not even Walmart or Kroger would cash until I got my direct deposit fixed. I still go there to get lunch like 3 days a week..great deli sandwiches, made to order. They're generous with the meat and cheese and don't overcharge. Great little family place. Now they even have pizza...highly recommend!”

“This is, by far, the best dollar general around. I typically go out of my way to come here. The staff is always hustling, keeping stock on the shelves and turning stuff over from season to season. They are also very helpful. I feel as though, they do not get enough recognition. Especially in a world where you can't find people to work, let alone, GOOD EMPLOYEES. This dollar general can have all my money. And give those people a raise!”

They area is not the best and the crowds that hangs around is pretty shady but I just refrain from engaging in any lengthy interactions with anyone even though it isn't rare for them to try ?”
“Been coming here since I moved here back in late 2022 and never had a bad interaction here. They always have what I'm coming for so I've never had to substitute anything. My only complaint is on behalf of the employees. Yall need to take it easy on them if they are short staffed. I seen a sign one day saying they had to close earlier because they had been sent 2 trucks of deliveries with little to no help because of them being short staffed. I'm not sure as to why they are short staffed as I've not worked there before but corporate or who ever runs this establishment needs to take it easy on this store”

“Best thing about Meijer is they are the latest retail/grocery store open. (Close at Midnight) Where Walmart, Kroger and others close at 11 pm or earlier. But they are generally 10% give or take higher item for item than Walmart or Kroger fyi .....”
