“We always cater our holidays & parties through DLM. Today 12/23/2023 I came in to pick up my order and there were no carts available, in addition to having to park in the bank parking lot (and it was raining!) Donna from the deli saved the day...she allowed me to pull up in front of the store and helped me load my large order into my car. To be honest, I was displeased about the lack of carts/parking but Donna provided the ultimate in service recovery. Thank you so much, Donna!!! You & your team are one of the reasons why I shop at DLM....outstanding customer service.”

“I've been in the store a couple of times however I waited to try the food before I compiled my review. I love everything about this place honestly. Its clean, no flashy nonsense, no noisy bar. Just a take out counter, a friendly woman and a paper menu. They spoke enough English they made it easy to understand the food and the order, and even if they didn't It wouldn't bother me. We ordered some tacos. I had a couple steak tacos and I tried a beef tongue taco. The brought out chips and had three different salsas. The food is outstanding and the prices are good. On the way out I picked up some chilis for something I was cooking at home. Total was $33, and I threw in a fiver for a tip. No frills, great food, a simple quiet meal amongst friendly people. Its a grand slam.”

“About as authentic as it gets. It’s very hard to find menudo and lengua/tripa tacos, and boy do they have it. Go with a Spanish speaker if possible, they CAN communicate, but having a bit of help never hurt. Legitimately some of the best Mexican food you’ll find around here.”

“This is a good neighborhood shop, it's cute, and for me has become an invaluable last run shop for ketchup, mustard, things I may have forgotten to get while I was out shopping at a big grocery store, surprisingly this store has a lot of basics covered. “This is, by far, the best dollar general around. I typically go out of my way to come here. The staff is always hustling, keeping stock on the shelves and turning stuff over from season to season. They are also very helpful. I feel as though, they do not get enough recognition. Especially in a world where you can't find people to work, let alone, GOOD EMPLOYEES. This dollar general can have all my money. And give those people a raise!”
“Been coming here since I moved here back in late 2022 and never had a bad interaction here. They always have what I'm coming for so I've never had to substitute anything. My only complaint is on behalf of the employees. Yall need to take it easy on them if they are short staffed. I seen a sign one day saying they had to close earlier because they had been sent 2 trucks of deliveries with little to no help because of them being short staffed. I'm not sure as to why they are short staffed as I've not worked there before but corporate or who ever runs this establishment needs to take it easy on this store”

“I go here for last minute things but could never do full grocery shopping due to cost. Only reason for four stars. I like that they have freshly popped popcorn. The staff is usually pretty nice and the store is always stocked and clean. Sometimes you can get good deals on meat. I've tried a few things from the deli that aren't too bad. I wish they had rotisserie chicken and sides here.”
