I was a bridesmaid in a family wedding this weekend and OMG! I absolutely fell in love when I first arrived the ceremony location and reception area is stunning!! This is a family owned venue and they treat everyone like family! All of the staff went above and beyond! Pam and Rod(owners) are the nicest people I have ever met. Brooke is their daughter and coordinator for the venue and she is amazing at what she does! Communication is super easy with her and she goes above and beyond for the bride, groom, and bridal party. There were a few uh oh moments through out the day but Brooke definitely got everything back in line and helped with whatever she could! I can’t recommend this venue enough! If you are even considering this place just do it and have your wedding or event here! I want to also say the bartenders Nikki and Sam were wonderful as well as the extra hands on deck Molly, Chelsea and the security guard Mike were all pleasant and fun to be around! Thank you all so much for making my sister and brother in laws wedding absolutely perfect and the wedding of their dreams!!!

I cannot say enough GOOD things about Shangri-La. I had my wedding there in September ‘23 and I honestly don’t think I could have imagined a better venue for our big day. Pam and Rod (owners) were great at communicating leading up to the wedding and fantastic the day of. Brooke (day of coordinator ) was such a HUGE help and I couldn’t have done it without her. The extent that she went to to make sure everything went smoothly is truly astonishing. The bartenders were fast, friendly and super sweet. We barely had to do any decorations outside of the reception tent because the venue spoke for itself and didn’t need any help. 5/5 we will be recommending them to all of our engaged friends and family.

I was a guest at a wedding this past weekend and just needed to share our experience. Aside from the natural beauty and vast landscaping, the staff and owners were beyond accommodating and gracious. The lake house was stunning both inside and out as well as their cabin across from the lake house. This establishment is rich in family history and love for all. My family and I were welcomed with open arms and hearts and will be forever grateful for such an amazing team of strangers. We will absolutely be back one day!! We went here for a weddingIt's a beautiful event center with a lake. The setup was nicely doneThe bar was separate from the tables and chairs tent. The grounds were beautifully kept. The staff was nice and attentive to the guestsI would recommend this event center.

The Zeigler family takes great care to provide an outstanding customer service experience - they simply have a knack for making everyone feel welcome and loved. And as you can tell from the photos, the setting is exquisite and truly one of a kind in the region. I have officiated almost 600 ceremonies at literally hundreds of venues, all of which I work with very closely. Take it from an industry veteran and pro - this is an outstanding place for any celebration, but *especially* a wedding. Go take a tour! You'll see what I mean. :)

Shangri la is the most beautiful wedding location in Ohio. We had our wedding here 9/03/2022 and we could have not asked for a better place. It is absolutely beautiful our guests were blown away. Im going to tell you about all the cool things but first I have to tell you about the family who runs it, they are the kindest most helpful easiest people to work with. From when we met them until even after the wedding they were extremely helpful and make you feel like you are part of their family. Even my guests commented on how awesome they were. They really put the cherry on top, great people.Besides the beauty of this place which speaks for itself it also has 2 rooms to get ready in. One is a bridal suite that has mirrors/lights/chairs for getting ready. My bridesmaids and I had our hair and makeup done in this room and it was so great. There is another seperate room for the guys to get ready in that is also very nice.The bar is a tiki bar! Who doesn't like tiki bars, who has a bad time at a tiki bar...no one. There is a lake which adds to the whole vibe and captain rod will give people boat rides. My guests loved loved loved that. The tent is huge and the sides open and let a great breeze in from the water.There are 2 different options of where you can married on the property. We choose the island wedding where it is surrounded by water and your guests have to walk over a beautiful bridge. Also super cool bc when the bride walks over it adds drama. Not to mention the beautiful landscaping of this place!I cannot say enough good things about this great place and the wonderful people who own and run it. 100% would recommend.

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our event. Shangri-La is so beautiful and the facility can accommodate any kind of function you are having. The owners are amazing and will do anything they can to make your event a success. We found a perfect home for our annual fundraiser.

I can’t say enough good things about this venue! My dear friends were just married here last weekend and i was the MOH and everything was perfect. Pam, Captain Rod, and Brooke are truly amazing at what they do. They are kind, professional, caring and invested. They were just as excited about the day as we were. We did not have to worry about a single thing, they had it all covered. Brooke checked in with me multiple times to see if there was anything we needed - she even gave me a pep talk before I gave my speech. Don’t think twice, just book the Shangri-La!
