The Family Pet is the only clinic we've taken our dogs to throughout the years. The staff is very nice and helpful, and Dr. Litwak is very kind and concerned about the health of my dogs.I know my dogs get the best care at Family Pet.

I have taken 2 of my cats there within the last 2 months, Whiskey made a full recovery with some antibiotics and crated rest at home, we tried for our Teddy but whatever was wrong was too late even after antibiotics. We had him cremated and was able to pick him up this past Friday and he was put down the Wednesday before. His urn is beautiful. Everyone there is beyond amazing. We will be using them from now on for our pets. Such caring people, they treat you well, care for you and your pets, give you ample options. Thank you all very much, you have gained a client for life!

I love these people, but since they were bought out by corporate America, they've priced themselves out. Dental cleaning for my cat - estimated $1200.00. Nail trimming, $38.00. Solencia for arthritis, $250 a month! I'm pretty broke now. Bye bye savings account!

Brought my dog to vet. They did X-rays. Blood and fecal test. Found nothing. Sent me to a specialist. 800 bucks later. Now I called for antibiotics that they offered at visit. They refuse. Need to come and spend more money for another check up. It’s all about money. They don’t care if the dog heals or not. Disappointed in the establishment. All about money!!

my biggest regret is taking my cat here instead of straight to a specialist. we wasted two months trying to fix something that was a symptom of her FIP. i understand that this is a clinic, and they dont have the same equipment as a hospital does, but my baby might still be alive if i had brought her to the specialist first instead of letting her FIP progress for two months while we tried to fix the wrong issue. the specialist i brought her to found what was wrong with her immediately and we started treatment that same day, but it was too late because it had progressed too far. please don’t make the same mistake as me, if your baby is sick, don’t waste any time, take them to a specialist first.

My friend took his dog there to have surgery. The surgery was to remove bladder stones. The cost of the surgery was $2400. Not even 24hrs later he woke up to his dog in a pool of blood. He rushed his dog back up there the vet wouldn't even look or touch the dog told him to take him to the ER. Once at the ER they rushed him in and had to give him 100 stitches due to the original vet not stitching him up correctly. That cost him another $1000. All due to a vet not correctly doing him job and taking care of someone's pet that they see as their child. DONT GO HERE!!!

I've been bringing my two dogs here since I moved to Garfield in 2019. I used a vet in Cuyahoga Falls and I felt they tried to nickel and dime you. The Family Pet Clinic, puts your pet FIRST. I was a little nervous when Dr. Thomas left. I was reassured after Dr. Litwak became my senior's dog vet. They really do put you and your pet first. Not your pocket book. My senior dog Jayce is 16, and I don't think he would still be here without the care from this team.
As far as the staff, hands down professional, friendly, and clean. Loden stands out and is always at the front desk when I have my monthly appointments. Her smile is contagious and she just makes you feel welcome the second you walk in the waiting room. The entire staff is great.
This practice uses Text messaging to follow up on your pet, I find this service priceless. You can ask questions or send pictures post appointments if you have any concerns about your pet. Thanks for all your practice does!

Used to be a GREAT vet. Then the owner sold it to some big company so he could help a friend at his practice. Then the other GREAT Dr. left. So really there's just one Dr there I trust with my babies. Dr. Slezak. The other drs are skiddish an kind of cowardly. I actually felt insulted the first time I brought one of my dogs there to see this new Dr..he was terrible. I don't trust this place other then Dr. Slezak. She leaves, I'm leaving...
. And of course this is the typical marketing corporate reply, basically saying we don't care about what you're saying, we're not going to change anything, and going to continue to do everything the way we have been. Thanks guys. Just please keep the best doctor you have there. That's all I'm asking. Slezak is enough for me to keep spending my thousands of dollars there.

The pet clinic is so close to our house. We just took our huskies there for the first time to get updated vaccinations. The costs are fair and they don't try to rip you off, quite the opposite, they suggested multiple ways we can save money on our dog's medical needs. The exams were thorough, and I like their online service, email and SMS reminders and helpful links. The clinic is also very clean and tidy. We'll take our dogs there (at least) annually now.
