I’m giving it two stars because I went there about a month ago and only wanted to use the hot tub and pool for an hour or two. Well pool was got members only due to a class going on and the hot tub wasn’t that hot in my opinion. Therefore, I think the Y should charge by the hours a visitor is going to be there and not $10 a day when a visitor may only be there an hour. The weekend hours are terrible especially for a community and family type of environment as the weekend is when people want things to do so not sure why the hours are open until only 3 or 4pm (whatever it is)… I would love to see big changes because when I was a child that was my go to place. They are a not for profit organization so apply for more funding and lower pricing while changing hours of operation with more time for visitors to also use the gym, pool, etc. I guess I just dumped up everything that was said above whatever I did not smell any urine when I was there! Lots of construction in the front because I believe a new parking lot is going to become available but during times like this, is another opportunity to lower costs and get new people in the Y as I remember the building additions being done about 10-15 years ago which without updates why do prices go up? Did someone else take the Y over? It is definitely not tan by the same people it was years ago and that’s too bad but ladies up front were kind to me- no lie- but very blunt too. I didn’t ask any questions but they could have directed me of said where to go if it’s really good customer service as I’ve been in customer service & patient care since I was 14 or 15 and I treat people the way I want to be treated. This is is my total opinion, and go to the Y and check it out for yourself. The visitor pricing does vary when it comes to teenagers and youth as well as our young elders? thank you

The swimming lessons over the summer at the Heise pool were great! My daughter enjoyed them and learned a lot! Then we moved to the indoor lessons and the instructor was not very good watching the kids. My daughter had a couple of episodes where she struggled and swallowed a ton of water and he didn't even know! There was cursing around the kids at times. Instructor never told us at the end of the lessons if she had passed the stage or not. I left a message with the receptionist at the Y and never called me back either. They need to hire people that care and pay attention to the kids. What a waste of money, which isn't cheap either. I had stopped using the Y for my kids sports for the same reason and decided to try it again after years. Big mistake! Greatly disappointed!

Very rude staff!!! Not worth it, save your money. And it smells like pee, it’s dirty, gross. Not paying for rude behavior. 0 out of 5 stars should be an option.

I only wish it was still open 24 hours, at least the gym section.

I have been a member here since I was a kid and I feel like it gets worse every year. You hardly ever have access to the pool. The gyms always seem to be closed for some reason, weather it's the 4 guys playing pickle ball in the big gym or it's 6 women in the small gym doing yoga. They never use the divider in the big gym so youth that aren't there for practice still have something to do. Instead they close to whole gym down for 5 kids. The workout facility is nice but for the membership price you can go elsewhere for pennies on the dollar. We went up today to use the sauna and my boys aren't 21 and they they were extremely disrespectful to us in regards to them trying to access the sauna because they were under 21. We will be canceling our memberships. It's just not worth the money. To poorly ran.

Good gym, but they just keep taking hours off more and more through the year and closing days for months at a time.
