I was going to see about putting my grand daughter in cheerleading here but from the recent reviews I will definitely pass.

You all should have some adult classes. I think you will make money having adult tumbling classes. Especially for adults who miss cheering

Hello by these reviews, they seem pretty good. Some of them are kind of bad but I have a few questions for enrollments for my daughter. Do you have to know how to be able to tumble in flipping all sorts of stuff like that because she does not know how to do so, but she’s willing to do cheer, so I was just wondering.??

Good luck getting any sort of timely response. I have emailed every email address I could find and not a single one wanted to respond. I have sent each one at least 3 follow up emails. Nothing back. I even contacted one coach I got from a friend that uses her. Emailed her and mentioned the mutual connection still nothing. At this point I question whether this is a legit business or simply a front.

Extremely toxic environment. Moms and kids are extremely aggressive and compare kids. Kids put down others for not being “super stars”. It’s a win at all cost type of gym that does not prioritize their prep groups. Poor leadership does nothing about bullying which allows it to get out of control.

I’m ONLY giving a 1 star because I had to! The awful things I’ve heard AND from reviews I’ve personally read myself are horrific. I know a child that was on this team, worked her tail off only to be mistreated. When a child is injured (concussion in this case) the parent should be the first person contacted no excuses! You don’t yell at a child for no reason! She’s hurt! There’s NO way I’ll pay all that money it takes on top of fund raisers to have my child(ren) mistreated! A CHILD being talked about, videos being shared of her being injured is uncalled for! Let’s not get into a coach that cheats! How embarrassing is that to these kids! DO NOT waste your hard earned money on a team (coach) that cheats, plays favoritism and DOES NOT take accountability for anything! Please have your child(ren) cheer for another team. Seems to me this squad needs new management/ coach!

They are nothing but a greedy money making machine. They care nothing about the kids. My daughter is 17 and has dreamed of being on a worlds team so I agreed to let her try out here. She made the non tumble team… and was bullied from day one the girls were nasty to her and the coaches could have cared less and when I brought it up to them I was basically laughed at for thinking that being a team of young adults you would think that they would be a little more supportive and idk build each other up instead of tearing each other down. I basically spent $3000 for my daughter to be bullied and ignored by the coaching staff and was charged an additional $365 for pulling her out of the program.

I had my issues with how I was treated here from my teammates during my few months here and how I clearly saw the favorites game played during that time… I was asked to step into stunts in a position I was not trained in and was never afford opportunity to stunt in a position I had been trained in for 10 plus years because I was “tall for a side base” knowing that another athlete could be seriously hurt because I had never stunted a position before… on top of that, to find out they lied in a competition just for the sake of a stunt not going up in the air because an athlete was missing… to then finding out injuries are NOT taken seriously and coaches DONT contact parents when an athlete is injured but instead scream at them on their way out so they can inform their parent themselves… I would not recommend at all! This type of behavior is toxic and it’s everything that’s wrong with cheerleading.

Very unprofessional environment. A child injured in the care of her coach should not be ridiculed and made to feel less than because an injury occurred. Communication should be with parents only once an incident occurs, not the child. This shows a lack of integrity and I would caution current and future participants to do your research. If Injuries are not taken seriously, what is?

This place is a joke. I have reviewed here before on a different account and I rated it a four star. But now I see this place different. I used to cheer here the first 3 years and the coaches never had anything good and we’re bluntly mean. Now that might of change but the professionalism is terrible.

My daughter has excelled at cheer Athletics! She originally was at another gym, which we only left due to unforeseen circumstances with staff etc, but literally the moment she walked through the doors , met the staff and was evaluated she knew and felt as if she was home. The coaching staff is top notch and every athlete/ coach before she even joined was so open and welcoming to her! She loved every moment being at the gym as well as the new family she has made from joining cheer Athletics Columbus! We are incredibly thankful for the the Cheer family we have found that compares to no other!
