I reached out to Nate in April based on a BiggerPockets recommendation for tax compliance and preparation. After multiple follow-ups and providing the requested information, I've received no communication or assistance. I would have avoided this review if Nate had simply responded to my follow-ups. Unfortunately, after complying with his advice to file an extension, I've been met with silence.
***Nate’s response is disingenuous. I was instructed to email him. He only reached out after I wrote my review. I have not declined any services. Shame on you, Nate!-***

Nate Busch and the team make filing our taxes and seeking advice an easy process. He is very knowledgeable in various areas. I'd highly recommend working with his team. In a world where good customer service is lacking, the team at Busch Tax is always prompt, responsive, and does a great job.

I have been looking for a good and competent CPA firm for literally a decade. My business partners and I have gone through several and they all seem to be the same.-Take what we give them on the P&L’s, prepare the taxes, and then send us a bill.These guys are different and are involved.They have a planning session each year to teach us the tax law and help us understand how to reduce our tax liability (by using the tax laws in place)In Nate’s words: if you take on the risk of buying different types of real estate, you should consider taking the legally allowed benefits (such as depreciation through Cost Seg’s) as well.***seems like common sense, but he’s the first CPA to suggest it and to help us really think.I found Nate through one of my mentors who recommended him to do our real estate investing business tax returns.We started off using him for just the properties but he and his team are so on top of things, and so responsive, that he does our personal returns. I highly recommend Nate and his team. We couldn’t be happier.

Unfortunately I had to leave this company after severe lack of communication and dismissive behavior. I’ve had years of issues with returns since leaving only to find out it was from improper filing of an s-corp election that was never provided to me. Know that if you go with this company, you will be charged to have someone ‘change your company status’ by providing you a form (in my case none was provided per all my email correspondence) and expecting you to do the remaining filing.
This was the most unprofessional company I’ve ever had to deal with. Beware if deciding to move forward.

Nate and his team are true professionals. They helped guide me through getting a new business off the ground. Being a new business owner, I had a lot of questions. Nate was always available to answer and consistently followed up to make sure I was doing things properly. Mike, who works for BTC, did my personal tax return and turned it around FAST. I'm confident that I got the best tax service possible. Highly recommend!

I had a more complicated tax situation this year that I couldn’t figure out as usual online. The team walked me through the whole process and answered all of the questions I had. I will use BTC again next year and recommend to anybody in the Columbus area

Nate & his staff (Junior & Cael) at Busch Tax Company were professional & made our experience very seamless. After utilizing a larger CPA firm for many years, we have found using a locally owned business with ties to the community- is better.

very unfriendly and awkward experience. Nate barely looked at us, asked us questions, or engage an any conversation. Looked out the window and at his computer the whole time. Then asked US to follow up with him.
