Wanted to open a bank account but I’m not from the area. After a few phone calls I picked Fremont federal credit union. I was told they print cards and all I needed was my ID to get started. I walked in, waited in line and asked to open an account. I can help you the lady said. As I sat down, I asked was this the right location that print cards? No was her response. “I can’t remember the last time we did, we never have” as she looks puzzled. I explained to her what the guy over phone told me, and to make sure I had the right location. She never ask for more information to understand my question or to help. After stepping outside to make a phone call, I was told the system was down and no cards can be made at this time. Why wasn’t I told this when I asked the receptionist (who worked for the company 15-20+ years) after going back in the repeating what I was told, she apologized with “sorry, my manager just told me” I asked to open the account with someone else. I waited a short time and decided not to open an account and do business with this bank. I strongly believe because I am a black male is why I received this treatment.

Bank is shady. If you only have 50 in your account and have something pending for 40 they will wait weeks to take it out hoping you overdraft ur account. If you have 30 in ur account and something pending for 40 they will take it out right away without leaving it pending

I was just informed today that FFCU is charging dormant fees for children's savings accounts. I closed the account and plan on moving all my other accounts to a bank with less fees.

My husband and I switched a couple years ago and I have never had one issue with FFCU. The Clyde staff is amazing and remember us every time and have been more helpful than I could have ever imagined! Plus, I love how much this bank gives back to the community.

Horrible bank. After 10 years I’m choosing another bank. Frank deleted an entire check then tells me I have to come in to cash it. the bank is trying to get people to over draft. horrible.

Went into the branch as a new member and applied for a Auto loan, I talked things over with Rachel in loan services, although she never said I wasn't approved for the loan, she gave me advice on what I needed to do to get a better interest rate and why giving me a loan at this time might be biting off more than I could chew if something happened, I appreciate her honest opinion and recommend her values as a person looking out for me and other members. Rachel didn't hand out a loan to me just because it was easy money for the credit union she wanted me to wait and get the loan that made sense for me, now that's "committed to excellence", member for life. Thank you Rachel
