NEWER CLEAN STORE HELPFUL STAFF DECENT PRICES

I've applied for the same position roughly about 10+ times if not more. Due to the lack of no response, I applied for the same position at the Big Lots in Norwalk and the hiring manager talked to me right away and confirmed they did not receive my application (on Indeed) and let me know what position was available. With no time to think about it, I called this Big Lots right away only to be told the hiring manager had left and wouldn't be in until today. I explained the situation (so the person to could let the hiring manager know about my application) only to hear "uh hu, okay, is that it"? and then was told by said person that she would leave the note on the hiring managers desk for them to call me. I guess unfortunately this Big Lots isn't hiring or doesn't need anyone too bad or I'm sure I would have heard something way, way, way before now.
I'm not bitter or mad, infact I still plan to shop here. It just would've been nice to hear something back. Even if it was "sorry, we're not hiring at the moment" or "these are the only position(s) we have available".
Even the store in Norwalk (although I was detoured away) let me know something.

I bought a couch from Fremont's Odd Lots. It took over an hour for the employees to figure out how to get it out of the store and then 2 employees helped load it into my truck and they broke part of it. I asked if a discount could be given due to the circumstances and was told no. I asked for a manager and one of the 2 employees who did the damage said she was a manager. Terrible customer service!!!

I shopped and purchased furniture at the Fremont Oh store, John assisted and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great customer service and the store was very clean and organized. I would definitely recommend. Great shopping experience. Thank you John!
