November 2023 by RICK ILL GIVE HONEST REVIEWS
Place was decent, Juice for buffet was not turned on for us we had to ask, pool was outta service, check in was quite fast, staff were very good regarding our concerns,I gave it a 3 star on the fact the maple syrup was very slow, and pool was closed, this was why we stopped at this place was so we could swim b4 hitting the road. Hopefully they get it fixed? The free breakfast was pretty good considering it'd free.

Left my Joe Burrow cup in the room we stayed in. No phone call to the person who secured the room for the night even telling them that they found the cup. A bunch of people out back grilling or smoking food loud music. Awful just

Dirtiest motel room I have ever seen. Only benefit is the large parking for trucks, but otherwise, will not recommend this place. Be aware they will ask to make a copy of your ID, THEY CAN'T DO THAT!!!. It's ok to show it, but certainly not to give them a copy. Avoid if you can.

Wonderfully nice people run this place. Rooms reek and are old. Toilet seat completely disconnected from the bowl. Beds are comfy. I had coffee, creamer, cups, stirrers, but no coffee maker. In all fairness, they brought me one when I complained. I guess the price is right since the place is so dirty and stinky. I would give one star but the people who work at and own the place and the price make up for everything else. If you’re on a budget, this is an ok place. If you’re not, maybe consider another option.

I didn't mind hanging there for a night. There is some things they need to do here and there to fix up the room. But other than that. The only thing that upset us was being woken up at 10pm buy a dude ? talking super loud by the door and doors slamming. But other than that it's meh , good for a one night stay.

Bed had black spots from previous bed bug issue. We didnt find any but the sheets made us uncomfortable. The water was hot at least. Front desk was accommodating about putting us on ground floor.

Front desk lady was very nice. Price was $20 more than what Google search results estimated. AC doesn't work. TV doesn't work. Room doesn't smell great. Broken tvs and chairs are in the walkways in front of the rooms. Started worrying about other issues if the upkeep on obvious stuff is this bad, so I left early and slept in my car.

The wifi was horrible, half the television channels were out & the heater (I am using that term loosely) was loud and less than satisfactory. If you have any other option for a place to stay take it. Because if you do end up at this hotel I assure you it won't be a pleasant experience

Everything functioned but the room was filthy. 20 minutes with a bucket of Mr.Clean and a sponge would have gone a long way. It's cheap but it can still be clean, holes in the bathroom door, rotton walls around the floor in the bathroom, The furniture in the room is from the 1980's when the Holiday Inn Express updated their rooms, I can live with all that but it was the dirtiest hotel i've ever been in. A real "Patel" Special. No breakfast stuff which I don't care about for the price. I pulled up the mattress, there was hair and dirt but no bed bugs but given the shape of the room I was surprised, I almost left and I'm far from picky. 2 stars just because it had a good TV, internet, a fridge a microwave, hairdryer, iron, ect.. that all worked. It was the last road trip for my job, what a way to go out, My customer got off cheap, i hope he appreciated it I don't know where those other reviews saying it was clean came from, probably the relatives posting. I was there.

I do not recommend this place it has bed bugs and they are still renting out there room. I had brought it to the wifes attention first about the bed bugs and she told me that there was no bugs and some day later I went to the husband and let them know they had bugs and then I checked out.I came back to Econo Lodge and checked in just to see if the bug problem was taken care of and it was so my hats off to the owner for getting on the problem real fast. The rooms do need to be up dated more some rooms are nicer then others. The bath rooms not to bad like the rooms could use a little up date rooms could use a new coat of paint , but the people here do really try they work hard at keeping there guest happy. The real down fall is there vending machine are broken and have been since last summer other then that not a bad place to stay when your tired and you want off the road.

Great room for the price. Quiet, CLEAN. Sheets were clean towels were clean and actually looked brand new. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the smell. It wasnt horrific I could have lived with it, but I just drove right down the street to walmart and grabbed a candle. Oh that's another thing, good location everything you could need is close. Very nice front office staff as well.

This hotel not only has amazing prices for their rooms, but the host and staff are amazing people. That and the location is around a lot of fast food places and gas stations. I can guarantee you that you won’t find another hotel like this one. If you ever find yourself in the Franklin/Springboro area and need a nice, cheap hotel, this is the one I recommend to you.

The night clerk was descent and friendly. The room wasat best ok for the price but the non smoking room smelled of stale smoke. There has been work to update the rooms and it looks good. There were no bugs. There was stuff on the wall behind the trash can, dirt and grime on the baseboard and lowere wall in the bathroom and on the bathroom door. There was also purple body wash or shampoo residue in the shower. If there was thorough cleaning it would have been at least 3 stats but the lack of cleanliness was evident.

For the price I have no complaints at all. It is true that the facilities and room are not perfect, but they are actually impressive for a Budget Motel. The staff was courteous, the room spacious and everything needed was provided. The air conditioner worked flawlessly, the water was hot, and the remote control on the TV had no issues. Moreover, the mattress on the queen bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in for some time. I have paid more money for rooms that we're not as pleasant as this. Thank you to the staff and owners.
