$396 for a non-itemized shortform standard deduction tax return. The countries average is $220. I knew when cpa exclaimed "you made more than you did last year!" that I was in trouble. Last year she charged me $230. The youngster in the office explained "well, the cost of everything has risen" that is no excuse to price gouge your customers. I will not go back.

I have been going to Clark’s for years, Phyllis was a great tax preparer, professional, and curious. Since Anita has taken over I’ve had nothing but issues, last year there they entered in my social security number incorrect and I found the issue. Now this year, I spoke with Jane Adams who is completely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional as they come! Before Jane even knew I was there, the lady from the front desk told Jane I had a question about my taxes and I didn’t want them filled yet because I had a $3,000 difference in what she had and what turbo tax had. Jane responded with a very rude comment, then the lady from the front desk said “ she’s here, not on the phone”. Jane comes out to give a horrible explanation of my taxes and gets ruder as the conversation progresses, finally I said “ there’s no reason to get rude with me “ she walks off spouting off with her belittling comments. That’s when I said that’s enough, don’t file my taxes, I’ll go somewhere else! I then call and speak with the owner and she offers no apology for Janes actions, knowing she had to hear the conversation since the building is quite small. Needless to say, I would leave zero stars if is was available! Also note the owner Anita has commented on each post and never once offers an apology! She just lost my daughter, my parents, my boyfriend, our friends, and anyone else we could have recommended to go somewhere else!

Went to drop off my taxes and they were very rude, I won’t be dropping them off, me an family have used them for years. We will be going somewhere else this year. New owner needs to have a chat with his employees

I paid you to prepare our taxes , I brought them back and was assured they had been double checked by the owner. I then found the mistake you had made brought them back and was assured everything was taken care of . Now I am being charged everyday for late taxes that I do not owe, Your solution is I pay them $1500 dollars that I don't have or set up payments to pay money I don't owe . My solution is that you take care of this like I paid you to do.

If you want to see a joke then have these people do your taxes. They don’t even deserve a star, it’s a shame. The former owner when Phyllis was there was great. She knew her stuff and got it right every time. This place is not organized under the new ownership.They don’t seem to know what they’re doing. You ask them direct questions regarding YOUR taxes and the response (or lack of) from them will not make you feel confident. The customer should NOT have to hold their hand and correct them with mistakes they made. They seem so lost here. I’m leaving this company for good.

This company is awesome, very personable and knowledgeable about everything. Very affordable.Would definitely recommend. I travel an hour and 45 mins to go to this company for my tax preparation......AAA+++++

very disappointed with service after, 22 years continue tax every year called to get questions concerning my forms after retireing first didn't call back 2nd then after talking to the reception they did call back but I was rushed ,after the conversation was told to drop off my info and they would get back to me I did just that but was then told to fill out forms and present ID proof of insurance .. like I was a newbie and hadn't been there befor I got my envelope and left telling them that all that was on file & I wont be back.

Too busy to call back a potential new small business customer because "it is tax season," or so I was told, after I called a second time. Then I have to assume also too busy to serve my account. Would love to support a common local small business, but need the communication.

Excellent treatment and service. I recommend them. Keep in mind for every positive review there are probably 500 happy customers. For every negative review there is probably 1 unhappy customer.
