Connie and Amanda always make my visits here more enjoyable. They are very friendly and helpful. The only reason I don't rate this place a 4-star is their lack of public toilets. Unfortunately this leads to the fitting rooms smelling of urine and needing frequent carpet replacement. (No fault to staff)

I love this store and have been coming here since I was a kid! I love what the Salvation Army does for people in need but I had my first bad experience today! The lady working was SO rude to me. I waited in line for 15 minutes while someone was in the dressing room with a cart full of clothes, when she came out she put all the clothes on the rack. The lady working came up to my dressing room and started accusing me of putting all those clothes there, saying she seen me do it and it’s only five items allowed. I opened the curtain and showed her that I only have five items and had been waiting in line for a long time I just got in there. She continued to tell me “yeah you only have five now cause you put them out on this rack. I don’t have time to put all these clothes away”. She continued to accuse me and be rude to me. I’m sorry you dont have time for your job, but this makes me not want to come back. I put all my stuff away grabbed my husband and kids and left. 20 years I’ve been coming here and I don’t think I will again

We found a bed bug in the clothes we got. You guys should wash your clothes and the comment you left at the bottom didn’t help with what I said we found. It would be nice if you cared about your customers because I’m pretty sure if people keep finding bed bugs in your guys clothes they would be mad or upset no one wants bed bugs at all or having their home infested in them.

is there any way in the future of converting to a plastic barb system INSTEAD OF the staple tags after you wear a shirt for a few months, you end up a few 2-3mm holes where the staples are..
other salvation army stores have told me the staple system should have been phased out years ago due to damage to clothing

Maybe it's 'cause I'm from Michigan and our Salvation Army's are just way better, but this is probably the nastiest looking and smelliest Salvation Army I've ever seen. All the shoes are only up to size 7's. The place is so unorganized, the staff is rude. I gathered around 15 pieces of clothing to try on, and when I went to go change I realized it wasn't even a door. It was a curtain with holes in it and a STRING to keep it shut. There's no lighting in the dressing rooms, it's completely dark and the mirror has graffiti all over it. I went to another one thinking it'd be better because it had a door at least, but there was no hook. Only a string kept it shut. So disgusting and smelly, super dark I couldn't even see what I looked like trying things on. Then I hear my mother come up to the door and ask if I'm in there, and suddenly an employee comes over and starts telling her the changing rooms are closed and we can't use them. My mother is saying "Well there's no sign? How would we know?" And she angrily says "There was a sign! It was a printed one. I don't know where it went." She then explained the changing rooms close at 6 but the store closes at 7. Why? That's so weird lol. I've never heard of that. Plus it was 5:55 when I actually got into the changing room and she was mad I was in there at 6. When I got out, the lady had taken ALL the clothes I had hung up to try on and she put them away. (the changing room had a limit of 5 items, so i hung them up outside the changing room) I specifically called to her and told her those were mine but she ignored me. I left with nothing, they won't be getting my recommendations or visits. The place is awful and needs to be shut down.

Filthy store, so many clothes have very obvious stains or holes, and outrageously overpriced! Most dresses are $20, some are more. I pulled out a dress marked $20 and it had an enormous blue ink stain (the size of a peach!). I walked past a nightgown that had so many holes it was literally unwearable. I could save money buying things new!

Extremely overpriced, the most expensive thrift store in Findlay. Stained old Columbia jacket for $20, kids wheelchair for over $100 ( that was donated for people who need it!!), broken old skechers for $20, used bras for $7( pack of three new ones is $12 in Gabes). Manager runs it more personal than professional. No public restrooms, smells like smoke, trashed outside. The only pleasant workers are two ladies: one who runs the register first shift and lady who puts clothes on racks on second shift. They are friendly and make you feel comfortable at this place.

It's nice there is a salvation army here. It's not well organized. Did get a good filing cabinet here. Clothes selection isn't great. Not their fault Findlay is a small area

Went in for something specific. Dressing rooms were filthy with dust and dirt. Supervisor rudely ordered busy worker on other side of the store to come wait on customer, while she herself sat right next to the cash register and customer. Said nothing to customer. Continued to belittle worker in front of everyone as she sat looking at her phone.

Great selection of clothes! Well organized! Don't let the old building chase you away. Poor management and rude employees. Tried to close early on a weekday. Customers trying to come in 10 minutes till 6 were told I'll let you in but you have to hurry! Then yelled at the 2 groups "hurry up" , right after they denied another customer. Staff used to be friendly at this location.

Yes, the store could use some TLC, but it's never gross or dirty inside- just a bit run down. They price their items a bit high- but two tag colors are 50% off and one tag color is 99 cents. So if you shop the sale colors you can get some great deals. Much better prices than the GW. The colors change weekly. They sort by size, which is nice. The worst part is they staple the price tags on the clothes - which in turn can ruin the item. It'd be nice if they would use barbs or at least staple them in a place where the item wouldn't get ruined. Some of the workers are very nice, others... not do much.
