It's hard to find a business, that's in the business of selling, that'll give it to you straight up, even when it means they won't be selling you something they have. I called Rudy, thinking that I had researched, and thought thru my wants and needs. After about 5 minutes of talking to Rudy, I realized that age had fogged my memories, and Rudy has jarred me around enough to re-evaluate what I really needed to look for. Sometimes the candy coating hides the real contents. I'm pretty sure that Rudy has had his share of "educating" folks. There's much for me to learn, about many topics, and I'd have to say the Rudy would rather set me straight, than to deceive me, to make a sale! Kudos Rudy! Thank you and carry on!

Hate to write this review, because I know Rudy is trying not to be a celebrity. It needs to be told though that he is undoubtedly what a “celebrity” should be. We can all learn something by the way he handles his business. I appreciate his honestly, integrity and talent. His website is truly a gift to read and his most recent Facebook post was SPOT ON! Hopefully someday I’ll be (actually) driving one of his healed ORIGINAL metal CJs. Thanks Rudy and Ranger!

I called Rudy out of the blue and he couldn't have been nicer and more knowledgeable. I had several questions about his inventory, and CJ's in general, and although I wasn't making a purchase on this particular occasion, he was still helpful and forthright. You can tell he cares about what he does and his customers. I'd definitely do the business with him.

Desperately need a fresh air door for the heater box on my '84 CJ-7, so I can complete my repair and have heat for the winter. Rudy says he has a minimum of $50.00 on parts sales, and that this didn't sound like a $50.00 part. Interesting that he was willing to sell $2 worth of screws to a customer in California according to an earlier post. I will be in the market for a hard top and steel doors for that CJ come spring. Just some good information for everyone.

I didn't know that Rudy's CJ's was on Yelp or I would've had reviewed his shop earlier. I bought a 1977 CJ7 from Rudy almost 3 years ago. I got exactly what I was looking for and he helped me a lot in the process. I might've asked for a little bit more than he's used to doing in the shop lately but I'm glad I asked him and thankfully he obliged. He is direct, yes, and these days, that can be a little off putting or unusual but he's fair, honest and forthright. You can't ask for more in buying a vehicle that wasn't of the highest quality straight off the factory floor. Jeep's are fun but a labor of love. You have to understand what you're buying and if you're patient and REALLY want a Jeep, Rudy is your guy.

I purchased an 86 CJ7 from Rudy a few years back. It was a completely rust free Jeep from AZ. A few years later I needed funds for a cabin. I called Rudy and he bought it back the following day for what I had invested in it. Both transactions were smooth. I’ll buy another CJ from him when I get the urge.

Drove 3 hours to grab a couple items for my 82 scrambler. Was able to get everything I needed plus some. Rudy was super helpful getting me set up and even had some of the minor little screws, nuts and bolts I needed. Plus some really cool jeeps sitting around! Extremely organized and helpful! Thanks Rudy, pleasure to meet you and I'll be reaching out in the future for any of my CJ needs.

I wanted to purchase original screws for my oem fog light switch and keep my 86 cj7 all original. To my surprise I got an earful instead "Go to the hardware store and figure it out if you cant figure out a screw you shouldn't be installing fog lights". He was rude, annoyed and did not appreciate me wasting his time for screws. I want bother him again.

Bought a 258 1983 jeep engine. Rudy was a very friendly and very likeable. The engine was exactly as he said it was. He also had several near perfect CJ7's for sale that made my mouth water. He went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. Great guy highly recommend. Nice to find someone who goes out of his way for you. Thanks Rudy will be back.
