Great place to rent a car!! She was extremely helpful and friendly throughout the process!!I will definitely use Avis in Findlay OH next time I need to rent a vehicle.

The vehicle we rented to go from Ohio to South Carolina was unsafe. The tires were so bad that we were hydroplaning much of the trip as it rained the entire time. An 11 hour trip turned into 15 hours due to the bad tires. When I called Avis it took everything for me to get a whopping $50 back. So that's what your families life is worth as this could have ended catastrophically if it hadn't been for my son and husbands driving experience (fuel trucks). The vehicle also smelled bad and was dirty~Do better

Avis car rental website says nothing about a $ 200 deposit to rent a car, they wait till you go to pick up the car and pay , then they throw in the " oh there is a $200 deposit! " i have to leave a star rating just to post a review, but i would not reccomend Avis car rental to anyone!!.

I’ve been an Avis customer for over 6 years. Through these years I’ve rented from so many locations including different States and they’ve always been very great. This location will charge you for picking up a car at 3pm on a Friday and returning it at 2pm on Saturday because they are not there to check it in. This makes no sense considering the rental period is for a day and not hours.This can be reasonably managed. It’s very basic.

The vehicle that I had was very clean and good on gas. They had me in a Toyota that ran very well.

Needed a car rental for a one way trip to WI. I was assured they had the van I wanted available for the day I wanted. I was even quoted a price and was told that it would be waiting for me. 4 days later when I went to pick it up I was informed that there was NOTHING available for a one way trip for me! Very inconvenient as I had to procure a motel room for the night and have a family member make the 8 hour trip (one way) to pick me up the next day and get me home.They were very pleasant and accommodating on the phone but non-existent with any type service!

It would actually be NO stars if that were an option! I was given a vehicle that was filthy, no washer fluid, low on coolant, and a check engine light. We got about 1000 miles from home, and had to have the vehicle towed. No replacement (exchange) vehicle was ever received. I was on the phone with countless reps over 2 days and ended up having to BUY a vehicle to finish our vacation and to be able to get 5 adults and all of our stuff back home. No one from Avis ever followed up on our case! Then I had to spend more time on the phone on multiple calls to get most, but not all of my money back! I will NEVER rent from Avis again!

From day one was horrible my car had mechanical problems Brittany wouldn't trade my vehicle. She charged me 25$ extra for a free upgrade...... Charged me 189$ a day for extension...... I drop the car off the big guy said everything was fine besides the gas so I say ok I'll pay the 10/gallon.... He says no smoke smell and it's clean so the gas was the only thing ...... Three days later I'm getting charged 929.89$ for cleaning fee when he checked it before I left and said everything was perfect. Now my account is negative 9000 like I didn't even pay for anything. They are scamming people'smoney. They did the same thing to my mother in law. I'm going to court

I reserved a rental online through priceline.com excellent price and booked for a week as my car broke down, of course on a Friday evening.No where on priceline, or in the rental office at Avis was I advised of a security deposit ( which I won't get back until the car is returned)I am a limited income handicapped senior citizen, who's grocery and gas money is now being held hostage by a company that doesn't need it.I called customer service to no avail. My receipt shows what I thought I would pay, but check my bank account, and they took an extra $200 dollars... how can this be legal?? I didn't sign anything that says they would do that.
