I almost never leave reviews, but what just happened was so unacceptable that I needed to. I have gone to the salon off and on throughout the years, and usually take breaks when my stylists leave. I've been working with my current stylist for several appointments now on a tricky haircut, and had an appointment today to get a touch up and also color. I was excited. However, I sat in the chair for almost a half hour before they finally called her because she wasn't there. The girl who called her let me know that apparently she's on FMLA, and her schedule should have been cancelled out. I checked online and her schedule is still up and available, which means this issue could definitely happen again. I want to make it clear that in no way do I blame my stylist. She has been a pleasure to work with, and has been so patient in helping me fine tune my cut. I was contacted last week to confirm my appointment, and I have to wonder if it was for this reason. I am so disappointed in management for not taking care of her clients so that she can take care of herself. My haircut is complicated, so finding somewhere/someone else to go to short notice is not really an option. The reason I had switched stylists to the one I've been working with is because the last place botched my cut. I'm also so incredibly frustrated that I had to sit there for that long before the issue was even noticed. I understand now why the stylist turnover rate is so high. I would leave too if management took so little care of their staff and clients.

Thank you to Ban for swiftly helping me in check out and applying for a credit card that ultimately saved me $30 on the spot. Ban is very upbeat and friendly, helpful too with product advice. Another kind woman assisted me with lotion finding the most hydrating solution. Your team is five star. Thank you, Julie.

I went to Ulta having no idea what skin care products to get, I never had a skin routine so I was stressed and worried about getting the right products and not spending too much. I asked for help, and an esthetician names Ban helped me soooo much! She listened to my concerns, and told me the best products that she recommended. She even kept in mind the sales since I am on a budget! Not only did she help me find all the products I need, she wrote on my boxes so I know when to apply each item! Love this Ulta, and definitely will be back!

The people who work here are so lovely and helpful. One associate saw me looking for something, noticed it was out and offered to look in the back even though I insisted it was ok. Also, Ban, at the cash register saved me from buying two bottles of conditioner (the shampoo and conditioner bottles are identical). I was so appreciative! Great staff and Ulta should be proud of the women there

Love love love this ulta! My stylist, Cayla, has never let me down and always does what I ask. I’m at the point where I can wholeheartedly trust her suggestions and ideas about my hair because I know she’ll have me walking out the chair absolutely amazing! She has such a bubbly and funny personality and I’m always so comfortable the minute I sit down to the minute I leave the chair. Highly highly suggest Cayla for any future appointments <3

I have been shopping at the Ulta in Fairview for years now and I'm never disappointed. I also have services done and always leave more than satisfied. To start, I get my hair done by Cayla. Cayla takes so much pride in her profession. When I first started going to her, she has been the ONLY stylist to actually assess my hair concerns and desires. Im SUPER particular about who touches my hair and she has NEVER let me down. She has always gotten all the details about how I want it cut and styled and delivers every time. Cayla always double checks with me to make sure I am satisfied and never makes me feel like I cannot speak up if I want any modifies to my hair during my appointment. She is also such a pleasure to have as a stylist. I sometimes get anxiety about going to a salon and ever since I started going to Cayla I feel super comfortable walking in and getting my hair done. She is always such a pleasure to visit and I always look forward to making appointments with her. Thank you Cayla for always making my hair look amazing. I also go to Rebecca for brows and I cannot stress enough on how well she does them. I usually get a wax and tint and she does an incredible job and is very friendly. I cannot say enough great things about the quality of service I receive when I book appointments here. I HIGHLY recommend Cayla for hair and Rebecca for brows. Thank you ladies for making me look my best and I cannot wait to keep booking future appointments with you both!

I’ve been going to this salon for almost three years. The products I use are always stocked and the store itself is set up nicely. My stylist Cayla has been doing my hair since I can remember! It’s been way longer than the three years I’ve been going to Ulta. I will always continue to follow my stylist where ever she goes. Her station is always clean and organized. I’m always asked if I need a beverage and she has always been accommodating to my curly, thick hair. She has always been able to give me the different styles and colors I’ve asked for over the years with also maintaining the health of my hair. Her consultations are always thorough and informative. She explains the process with pros and cons of style along with remedies of the cons a style may cause. I’ve always felt comfortable and relaxed while getting my hair done which says a lot about her as a master stylist. I’ve had bleach on my head and I’m definitely not a stylist so normally before going to her this process was always terrible because I knew nothing different. After going through the process with her I was blonde for a very long time and during this time I never had breakage, loss of curl, lack of moisture, or burning on skin. I’ve also had some nice conversations with her coworkers like Nick and Ciara along with the manager Su Chi. I will always recommend Cayla to anyone who would want there hair done or just want to start there journey to healthy strong hair.

AVOID THIS HORRIFIC SALON!Made the mistake of having an appointment with Nick Ballou. I made the appointment in person with the manager Jen, and she said it would take around 2 and a half hours and booked it for that time frame. When I came in for my appointment Nick reconfirmed that it would take around 2 hours. I showed him multiple photos of Taylor Swift stating that I wanted my white blonde hair to be her natural shade of blonde hair. I stayed there for nearly 5 hours (12pm - 5pm) only to leave with bright yellow hair since in five hours all he could accomplish was bleaching. Mind you, he told me himself (as well as the manager that booked it) that it would take around 2 hours to get a different shade of blonde, and I overstayed for three to leave for work with horrific yellow hair. The manager only offered a discount of one hour, so I payed over $200 for the yellow mess that you see.Cayla was supposed to fix it the following day, and once again I showed her the same following photos of Taylor Swift. Yet, I left with the dark BROWN hair that you see. I have no idea how she got brown hair from the light blonde hair Taylor has. It’s pathetic that someone who is supposedly a “master stylist” sees a photo of light blonde hair and then dyes someone’s hair pee brown.Speaking to the manager about this was equally as horrific. She did not care about this in the slightest, and she changed her story multiple times on how this would be “resolved,” saying that another manager would call back in a few minutes. That never happened. When I called back 40 minutes later due to no response, she was extremely rude, saying that I called ten minutes ago (I called first at 3:50pm then 4:30pm), and then she changed her story to saying that a manager would call in a few minutes, then she immediately changed her story, and said the manager would call later today, and then she immediately changed her story to saying I would get a call back tomorrow, then said there was no manager in store who I could speak to about this. All of these stories greatly vary from her initially saying I could speak to a manager about this. Clearly her goal was to deflect it and leave it unresolved. She changed her story four times. Clearly she did not care and I already had two horribly mismanaged appointments, and I spent over $200 at this point for brown hair when both stylists knew I asked for blonde and saw specific photos of the blonde I asked for. The stylists, managers, and customer service here is atrocious and this is without a doubt the worst salon I have ever been to. Avoid this place, their poor stylist, and incredibly rude and unprofessional management.Of course, this needed to be fix since Ulta Fairview refused to resolve this. Unfortunately, no other hair salon in the area had availability on a Friday night to fix these horrible mistakes that never should have happened, and should have been rectified. The only salon in the area available was another ulta (much to my horror).Funny enough, the stylists there were the ones that labeled Cayla’s dye job as “pee brown,” “green brown” and “poop” all while not knowing it was the work of their colleague a store over. It cost $140 to fix Cayla’s mistakes.

I wanted to share that I have been getting my hair done by Cayla their Master Stylist. She does my extensions and I am very satisfied with the service every time.Go to Cayla or Ciara if you are thinking about getting extensions put in. They also have free hair consultation, which is great as well.Very clean store and everyone is super helpful and friendly.Love shopping at Ulta Fairview Patk

Staff is rude and negligent. They made a mistake on my order. They first claimed there wasn’t a mistake and when I showed them it was wrong, expected me to get back in long holiday line for them to fix it.
