    Nice beach! The sand is mostly free of rocks and debris. The water is great for chilling in with it netted off for depth.

BEACH OFF SEASON Lake Metroparks Fairport Harbor Lakefront Park with a family-friendly beach is open year-round 6 am to 11 pm daily. Parking is free. Lifeguards are not on duty. Concessions and rentals are closed. Swimming is at your own risk. Summer beach operations and services are scheduled between Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day. HOURS OF OPERATION (May 27 to 29 & June 3 to August 13) Gate: 10 am to 6:30 pm Fridays - Mondays (no fee collected Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays). Lifeguards on duty: 11 am to 7 pm Fridays - Mondays, weather permitting. No lifeguards Tuesday - Thursday; swimming permitted at your own risk. Concessions: 11 am to 7 pm daily, weather permitting Paddle rentals: 11 am to 7 pm daily, weather permitting
