“I had to up my review from years ago due to our recent trip. Yes, they don’t buy everything that I have brought, and I questioned that before, but I am sure there is a reason. Recently I went in with my 2 older kids, and realized my son has sized out of the store. Sad for sure! The woman at the front was so kind and gave each of my kids a little gift! My son was leaving with nothing, and as a mom that felt really weird. I think she noticed and made sure he had something. I will be back from that experience alone. My kids are still talking about their treasure! Plus you can’t beat half off their winter shoes! My daughter got pair of michael mores for $8, looked brand new. A pair of actually brand new pumas for $16. I wish I got her name, because things like that are just core memories for kids. And us mamas will never forget such kindness! Thank you!!”

“This is one of my favorite thrift type stores in the area. They have a massive selection of just about anything you could want to find and the staff is knowledgeable and kind and courteous. I try to go here at least once a month just to see what new treasures they have brought in.”

“I love Happy Tails! It is one of the most well-organized and reasonably priced thrift shops. They offer a wide selection of cared-for household items, craft supplies, books, etc. I particularly love their vinyl records (which are filed alphabetically and by genre!) -- I find something to take home every time.”

“The atmosphere is awesome. The shop is clean, maintained well, and the owner is constantly doing updates for a trendy atmosphere. The ladies that work there are talented and make their guest feel like family. It's a must visit if you are in, or visiting the Akron Ohio area.”

“Had such a pleasant experience here. The furniture selections are constantly being refreshed - and furniture is sometimes put outside for free. That alone is just incredible. And it's very nice furniture. The men working there today were so nice and helpful, I'm very thankful for them helping me get my couch secured in my truck.”

“This is a nice place to find clothes, shoes, electronics, toys, furniture, nic-nacks, dishes, pots and pans, gift ideas, and just about any household need you may have. The prices have changed a lot over the years, but you can still find some reasonably priced items. Even your seasonal items are a lot cheaper in this store.. Valentines Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter,... all the way to Christmas. Check it out, you might find something you've been looking for, wanting, or needing for a long time. Happy Shopping!!”

“Waterloo Rd Goodwill is the best of both worlds thrift store. Left door takes you to the bins side, where random stuff is dumped into giant plastic bins and sold based on weight. Never know what gems you’ll find. VHS tapes, clothes, books, glassware, toys, autographed stuff, anything. #CatchMeAtTheBinsRight door takes you to the normal sales side that includes furniture. I’m going to have to share some crazy photos I’ve taken here over the years. Follow my profile!Employees here are friendly, hardworking, and execute their duties.Donation drop off on the right side of the building.”

“I always have an awesome time at this thrift store. The people who work here are super nice and helpful, and I often find great deals, especially with their $0.99 tag sales. Goodwill in particular can often be a bit of a rip-off with prices, depending on the location. Never really had a problem with the pricing here, though. In fact, for most of my best outfits I get complimented on at work I say, "thanks, I got it at The Salvation Army for $2!" which is always a fun conversation since I love encouraging people to shop secondhand. Just make sure you bring your own bag, they usually don't have any to give with your purchase unless they recently had some donated. Also, thank you for still stocking lots and lots of VHS and even the occasional VCR and CRT TV! Some places no longer do this, but I still love my VCR so it's awesome to find cool and obscure movies for fair prices here.”

“This Goodwill store is better than most of the other ones around here because they have lots of good non-fiction books and DVD's. There's lots of jeans priced at $5, decent amount of furniture and on knick-knacks too, if you're a collector of such things.”

“Let's bump that rating up a bit. Certainly doesn't deserve 1 star. It's a thrift store and provides what a thrift store is expected. Good service and not much to complain about. Easily accessible location in Montrose.”

“I like their discount system. They have 3 colors that have a possibility to be discounted, and although there aren’t many of those three colors on the floor, the odds are in your favor!Frequently there are beautiful vintage items.”

“Love both locations and I think they are equally fair when it comes to amount of items clothes shoes etc they have out. Love the jewelry in the showcase at both outlets!”

“LOVE this thrift store! I have found so many great things here, it is one of my all time favorites! They are always running a deal on tag colors, and have a great selection. The 50% off all colors days are the best ?? You have to dig through the clothes a bit, and it’s not the cleanest, but for a thrift store, the selection they offer is worth it!”
