I am afraid to respond to this review. Considering I'm on a spectrum device. I dealt with a man at the fairlawn store in Akron Ohio. Very helpful. Very knowledgeable about how to help with my particular situation. But the people answering the phones!!! I swear spectrum must hunt and find the most ignorant and programmable people they can find. I have never heard more. I'm sorry sir for your issue.Can I sell you more TV channels. Can I upgrade your Internet?? No. You can explain to me why I'm being charged more money this month than I was last?? Sorry for your inconvenience sir. Would you like the ESPN channel?? No!!! . Stop trying to sell me more stuff you can screw up on my bill... And fix the current problem. ...

Don’t get within 100 feet of this company, they make you beg over the phone to cancel (a 20 minute call…) and are comically overpriced for the same service as alternatives with subpar service. We had a 24 hour internet outage and they said they only credit your bill if it’s 48 hours, stay away

I'd give them 5 negative stars. Maybe these employees should read the last few press releases. The CEO apparently has one view and the instore people has a far varied Philosophy, I'd love to hear from how they've done things. They raised my bill more than triple. When I asked about the services spoke of in the post to about card cutters, the $30 internet service combined with 2 mobile lines, but there is no such thing in this store. Not to mention the new VS other issues with bad service. When you go in and pay the bill and the all the Sun. You're told that doesn't include after you left. Doesn't include your phones when you walk in to pay the phone and internet bill as one like always. It's just a nightmare to actually physically. Get somebody to do these things good and often these services. And even when I ask about it, they said that wasn't available for me. Bad contradictory pressure. This is just bad. I can't say anything more. Because it would violate policy

Terrible service. My mother died in December 2023 in South Carolina. Went to Spectrum in Greenville. Presented death certificate and had bill transferred to my address and added myself to account as her executor. Sold property in August 2024. I am not allowed to close account because I not authorized to because Greenville forgot to add me to the account??? Could I drive the death certificate to another Spectrum in Ohio near my address to verify she is really dead. Because who would lie about that??? And you wonder why you are referred to as “RECTUM”.

Don’t bother making a reservation if you go to the Fairlawn location. They won’t honor your appointment time. You just sit and watch people who came in after you come and go.

They absolutely have no idea what they are doing I had to come into the store twice and sit in a 40 minute phone call with the customer service because they never registered their devices to my name?? I had to go without internet for a week and I work remotely!!

Horrible Scam-like company running prices through the roof due to lack of competition. Awful people all around even the front line workers are just mean. As if the $16 an hour spectrum pays them has them living large and wouldn’t have a problem paying $115 for only internet. I sincerely hope everyone involved at spectrum has the worst life possible. Someone needs to class action lawsuit these criminals .

I was able to speak to Felecia and she was so professional and able to schedule an appointment that worked with my schedule. She helped me troubleshoot my concerns promptly and scheduled a technician to meet my needs. Thank you so much Felecia!!

I called spectrum not sure which office just the number on my bill. Needed to cancel cable. 2hours on phone the guy I talked to couldn't do the simple task 40 min he added cell lines Disney plus and made my internet more. ALL WE WANTED WAS TO CANCEL CABLE. He went on to take off Disney still talk about phones which we don't need adding on movie channels. 6th time of saying NO JUST CANCEL CABLE WE ASKED TO TALK TO MANAGER he refused on hold again. Came back on and said my boss said we took of the cable but we're giving you a free cell line. omg we have prepaid don't need that we just hung up no more pleasing customers I guess. REMINDER THE CUSTOMER IS WHAT MAKES YOU HAVE A JOB

Bad experience overall. The account setup was jumbled and no receipt for my transaction. Second visit: The screener interrogates you and gives you run-around. Third visit: the wrong account set up got corrected by a third person. He did engage with customer and was knowledgeable, still no receipt for my credit card transaction.
