I went here as a new customer for extensions. After 2 weeks, the sewing/weft came out and my head was hurting very badly. I went to new place to have the extensions removed. I ended up with bald spots and almost a yeast infection bc of the method used on my extensions. The extension method used ended up causing me to loose half my hair. The owner did refund the service charge, but since I had to buy hair separately, I was out several hundred dollars for the hair. Go someplace better!

Jenisis was very nice but this was my 7 year old daughters first hair cut. She was excited and nervous. We specified she would like a trim. There was no real consultation just an ok to the trim and she asked could she wet my daughters hair down. Next thing I knew I went back to check on her and Jenisis had chopped my daughters hair by 2 -3 plus inches of beautiful tight curls. It will take about 3 plus years to grow nearly back to where it was. I am writing this review to help other moms make sure you are very prescriptive with what you want and stay with your child during the haircut. In less than 20 min my girls beautiful curls were gone and it was cut in a very weird style and shape. Again Jenisis was very nice and I think she is still learning and hasn’t had experience cutting hair of many young children but def has the ability to be a great child stylist but she should consult the parent and make sure she understands what the parent and child are hoping as the outcome of the haircut.

It's a really nice looking spot with professional and friendly ladies/staff! The services leave much to be desired, however. You can have really great conversations and be treated as nicely as the staff is feeling that day while you receive subpar services. I would go in for an eyebrow wax and maybe a couple of other services and every time I left the salon EXTREMELY underwhelmed I kept going because of the guilt of disliking the services of a Black women owned salon and my laziness to find another spot (I have trouble trying new things, and this place hasn't helped dealing with this issue)! Anyways, all the niceties above were written to nicely say this place is not great or at least the lady I consistently saw for my services.
