I have been a thrift store fanatic most of my life. It saved me money several times on things. As well as restoring items etc. I was about to hit the floor when I saw the prices on their stuff this weekend !!! Absolutely ridiculous! You get this stuff for free!!! Shame on you !! Everyone in the place was complaining. I'd love to know who's getting rich off this ! How about they fess up or explain their reasoning for this !

Place has ridiculous prices. Waited three weeks for an item to go on sale. Went in today and they repriced the item as a new item to avoid selling it on a deal. Absurd in my opinion. They price off ebay which is crazy for a thrift store. Which receives the item for free. Use to be the place to find treasures. Now it generally empty besides the handful of people who sit there from open to close.

They had some very nice things. But some was pricey.

This place has gone so downhill. First, prices on everything, as well as trashy stuff they still put price tags on—like Dollar Tree used items or things that should have just been thrown away. Second, you have self check out now, but you still have one employees per station that hovers over you while you check yourself out. Either put the registers back and have the person check you out or stop having your employees monitoring your customers self checkout register, just have them still checking you out. Third, donated items should not be be priced based on their retail list prices at box stores. There was a lodge Dutch fire oven for the same price as it is on Amazon and Walmart and Lodge website.

I have frequented this store for about 5 years. I always find something. There have been several times the store tags are still on some items. I like the layout of the store.

The store itself is ok. A few days ago I found a Chanel purse priced at $72.
If the person doing the pricing had checked, it was pretty obvious that it was a fake.
And I hope that at do point they will enforce the policy referring to children staying with parents. The kids play in the aisles, often they are rude, or too young to know how to behave.
I guess I'm just past the age where I think all kids are adorable.
Maybe the next time I hear a kid screaming, I'll call 911. Perhaps the parent/parents
will make an attempt at exercising control.

Anyone who knows me can vouch that going to valley thrift used to be my favorite spot to hunt for treasures. Im sad to say thats no longer the case. I thought this store was a discount-thrift store. Geared towards helping customers who dont mind 2nd hand stuff because it was more affordable?!? The prices at this location are positively absurd!! Do better valley thrift!! Do Better!! Whata disgrace!

I am just leaving. Whatever the board or corporate for Valley Thrift is going the greed route like Goodwill. They had an item that still had the retail price of $3. They wanted $4.99!!! ?. Did they forget who the thrift stores are for? I hope people know their prices because of the many items you can get the same price brand new at Big Lots or Ross. I can't stand greedy corporations!!! Ugh!
August 2024 came back after a long time. Double WOW!! I can't believe the prices! Their prices are on par with the consignment store down the road. Go figure! I wish someone from corporate would do a video on why they feel the need to have a pair of raggedy shoes cost $27.00. SMH...

I used to adore shopping at this store when I first moved to the area, but lately, the pricing has become quite inconsistent. For instance, while shopping for clothes for my kids, I noticed that the prices were significantly higher than what I can find at Target for brand-new items. Some 2T girls' dresses with visible stains were priced over $20.00, which is quite steep. Please consider lowering your prices to make this store accessible and enjoyable for everyone in the community.

Prices are crazy for a thrift store. Even goodwill prices aren’t this bad. I
Hope the profits are going to a good place and not just corporate greed. You can literally get brand new clothes for the same prices they are charging.

I cannot believe the prices now. I won’t be going back a pair of shoes for 50 bucks really? I was unpleasantly surprised. Not a thrift store anymore .

I don't know why I went on a Monday and I think there was confusion with the prices, everything was 90 dollars and up. I'm going to go back and see if they corrected the mistake, since they were donated clothes.

I waited weeks and weeks for an item to go on sale and drove all the way from Kettering to get the item. The item was REPRICED so it wouldn't be on sale!!! What kind of dirty, petty business is this?!
