I came back from a one year cross-country adventure needing everything (brakes, rotors, tires, shocks, struts). They were friendly, helpful, explained everything and charged a fair price. My car rides like brand-new. My grandparents used Pfefferle for years and I will be using them from now on.

Because my vehicle is older and has a lot of miles on it, every time I go in for an oil change I plan for the worst. I dropped off my 2011 town and country to Pfefferle using the convenient night drop box and got a call the following day. Again, I was prepared for the worst, as I dropped it off for an oil change and brake inspection, but the representative informed me that the brakes still had a little life on them. It would seem that an automotive service would want to take advantage of the opportunity to rack up a customer's bill, but not at Pfefferle. They assured me that the brakes will need some work down the road, but that it wasn't something that needed to be done right away. It's service like this that keeps me coming back to Pfefferle.

Terrible! Had an oil changed on Saturday morning a while ago customer service was cool but seemed they finished my car fairly quick got home went back out car didn't start. So I Towed to the dealer (Engine locked up) $100 turned into 10k. Never again! I didn’t even return Monday to complain just felt it was time for an upgrade anyways. Be careful here. Some guy with big black rings in his ears was the last person who gave me my keys.

I have used Pfefferle Auto Service for the past 3 years. My first experience was a minor emergency the day before Christmas Eve and the Hamilton location worked me in.
I live closer to the Fairfield location so they have helped me with my 20 year old Jeep with all its aches and pains. I trust them to do an excellent job fixing the problems and to tell me when I don't need something repaired.
They have my loyalty and my future business!!

I've been a customer of pfefferle for years was always satisfied with their work but unfortunately my last visit was not a good experience took my truck into have the front end checked out was told I need the whole front end rebuilt so they did put new tierods on that was a $500 supposed fix unfortunately it did nothing to fix the problem took it to another mechanic he looked at it fixed the bad bearing said the rest of the front end had no problem but your man wanted another 2200 to replace parts that wasn't needed I feel like I was taken to the cleaner. In saying that I will never return to pfefferle again. it says a lot when the last 3 out of 4 reviews was bad .and my new bearing fixed the problem that you couldn't find

I took my vehicle to this shop to have the front-end parts checked. I was called back with an estimate that that was over $2,000. They said it needed 2 control arms, both inners and both outer tie rods and all four tires needed replaced because they are splitting right down the middle. I told them to put it back together and pull it out, that I would come pick it up after work. I had 2 brand new tires put on about 6 months ago. I found a nail in a third tire about 2 weeks and had that one replaced with a brand new tire as well. So my vehicle has 2 tires that are less than 6 months old and 1 tire that is less than a week old....and this shop said i needed 4 new tires because they all were splitting right down the middle...???
I walked in and told the guy I am a truck driver and we had a short polite conversation about being a truck driver. Then I told him before I became a truck driver, I worked at Firestone for 10 years. Then he tells me that the tech told him wrong and that my vehicle only needs 1 tire now. I paid $80 for the inspection, took my keys and will not return to this dishonest establishment.
I took my vehicle to different shop and they said it only needs 1 control arm and 1 outer tie rod end.

I wasn't going to leave a review but they sent me an email asking for it so...
I brought my vehicle in with it being unable to start. After spending 45 minutes doing diagnostics and charging me $75 they told me that my car was unrepairable and then I should replace it.
I had it towed elsewhere. Turned out I had water in my distributor cap. It cost under $50 in parts to fix and then another $20 for a new seal on the hood to keep the water out. I ended up spending more on towing than I did actual repairs.
I suspect whoever was working on it just didn't really want to take the time or effort to dig into it.
The repair prior to that I had to bring it in three times for a faulty radiator cap.
Years ago when they first opened we would always have to take the vehicle multiple times before it was actually fixed and one time we found tools inside the engine compartment. We went to a different shop for many years for our automobile repairs, but alas they closed.
I might trust them to do oil changes, but I would want to verify all of the work before leaving.
On the plus side, they are always very friendly and professional, and the shop is clean and well organized.
