Just like Walmart with the registers, 20 something registers and 2 open. Wish more stores like Aldi. Just scan the products quickly and put in the carriage. Takes so long for cashiers for some reason.

So I stopped in Meijer tonight wasting some time looking around browsing and minding my business and I noticed this girl following me around. Hiding behind boxes, sticking her head over the aisles to watch me. I tried asking her if I could help her bc she was just a weirdo. I finally figured out that she's a "undercover" making ppl feel uncomfortable. Stereotyping me. I went to check out and of course their was only one register with 30 ppl in line so I went to the self serve and the there was a girl standing there with a hood over her head talking on her cell phone looking at me then says something to the rude lady running the self serve and she starts acting like a c you next Tuesday. I had sandals and I asked her to take the device off and she started talking to me rudely like you have to scan them first rolling her eyes. I was just really confused about the whole experience. I stood around outside waiting for cops to come in blazing and ready to throw Me in their paddy wagons ? it was seriously just the most uncomfortable experience I've had shopping. I ended up spending 150 dollars on 4 items when I was done. I might take it back tomorrow to get a refund. I will never spend any money in another Meijer again. I understand they are trying to cut down on theft but following someone the whole shopping trip is ridiculous especially after a good hour of them not seeing me do anything suspicious. Rant over.

Excellent store. Good grocery selection, clean, helpful staff. Fair selection of home repair / garden / automotive items. Self-checkout works smoothly.

The pharmacy sucks. People are rude that work at that desk. They never have my medication available when my dr sends it. I called and asked when they would be ready & the lady replied “ we don’t have it, you have to wait until tomorrow or until we get it in stock, why do you need it today?” what’s the point in my dr sending meds if I don’t need it? I always have to wait days for it. And the pharmacist refused to discuss anything to me about my cancer meds.

All the cashers are nice but one he will stand there with his arm cross and gives you a look like your stealing things while your on self check out I seen him doing it way to many times he even came up to me saying I was stealing a case of pop while I was at a different register and my card in the credit card machine and my mom needed help welp he didn't help he let people struggle while changing out at self check out either talk to him or put him somewhere else I will not go threw his lane if he working because I feel like he rude

TODAY I WAS SO IDIOT THAT I ACCIDENT LEFT MY IPHONE ON SMALL CART OUTSIDE. I WENT HOME FOR AWHILE THEN I REALIZED THAT I LEFT ON THE CART. SO, I DROVE BACK TO MEIJER AND ASKED CUSTOM SERVICE FOR HELPED. TWO WOMEN: HAZEL AND ANOTHER WOMAN WERE TRYING TO HELP ME. THEY TRIED TO CALLED MY IPHONE TO FIND A SOUND ON. WE LOOKED ON THE CART OUTSIDE. WE COULDN'T FIND IT.
SO, I RETURN TO HOME AND LOOKED AT THE IPAD TO TRACK MY IPHONE AND IT STILL THERE. I CONTACTED HAZEL AND EXPLAINED. THEN I CAME BACK AND LOOKED FOR MY IPHONE AND I COULDN'T FIND IT. SO, I WENT BACK TO CUSTOM SERVICE DESK AND TALKED TO WOMAN. THEN I GOT A MESSAGE FROM HAZEL THAT A LADY FOUND MY IPHONE. I SHOWED A WOMAN AT THE DESK THEN SHE TRIED TO CALL HAZEL THEN WE LOOKED AT A LADY WHO FOUND MY IPHONE. SHE SAVED MY LIFE.
I THANKFUL MEIJER STAFF: HAZEL AND ANOTHER WOMAN WHO TRIED TO HELPED ME TO FIND MY IPHONE. GOD BLESS THEM.
MY ADVICE IS: NEVER LEAVE YOUR PHONE ON THE CART!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Prices do not ring up that are clearly marked on sale on the shelf, then I have to spend another 10 minutes in line at customer service to get it corrected.

Don't go there at night on the weekend because self serve has about 25 people waiting and only 2 cashiers for the whole place with another 12 waiting people in regular check out.I don't give bad reviews but this is well deserved. I won't be back until this problem is fixed.
