Purchased an '09 Chevy traverse yesterday (3/18/22) and it drove great. They had great customer service while purchasing the vehicle and I thought everything went great. I woke up today (3/19/22) to find it too good to be true as it started shaking while going under 40mph and then traction control was switching on and off. I took it to my mechanic to find out my check engine light should've been on, and they (performance honda) cleared all codes before selling the vehicle to ensure it would stay off. There are several things wrong with the vehicle, including cylinders misfiring, making this vehicle not drivable after not even a 24 hour period. After turning the car off it will no longer start. I called Performance Honda to confront them about the issue and I was told they will not look into fixing anything and instead they would rather “talk about possibly refunding” my money with no guarantee and "scrap" the vehicle. They might as well have told me that they knew they were selling me a car that wouldn't drive more than a few days. The sales manager, Eric Meyer, refuses to pay for a tow (we live an hour away and the car will not drive without shutting off or locking up so driving there isn't an option) because he doesn't want to "sink more money into the vehicle". The salesman, Eric Meyer jr, told me anything to get me into the car including "don't say anything to management, because I'm not supposed to advertise it, but this car was just fully serviced. It got all the works and we don't typically do that for used cars here ". Karen, the receptionist, advised me not to contact any attorneys as they "don't scare anyone here". This place is a JOKE. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE and they certainly have lost my business entirely.

“I bought 2 headlights for a 2004 Toyota Tundra. They say it fits. It doesn't! When I returned it they claimed it was used, damaged beyond resale and they refused to refund my purchase and they did not return the "damaged" goods as I requested. They accept no responsibility at all and make you go through a bunch of hoops just to try and get your money back because of their mistake and cost you more just to try and get back some of your money. Either way it's a loss, not to mention having to wait and get the parts from someone else while my car was inoperable, causing me to lose money from not being able to go to work.” Review from Dan A. My personal problem is the shipping scam. The parts were ordered from there website. I added the shipping address, the order and the order was confirmed. The day after I received a call from the parts “manager” stating a would be paying an extra shipping charge because they could not use the post office because it was “oversized”…hmm! Welcome to the scam the appears to be an ongoing issue with these poorly run “dealership”! Profit at all costs! The General “manager” Matt Lockheartless… shame shame shame on you!

Recently visited performance Honda of Fairfield with hopes of purchasing a new car. Once I started the process I noticed over 3000.00 in extras were added to the total cost. None of which were shown on the window tag, the finance manager could not explain why the additional charges weren’t show on the window tag. Not sure if this standard practice for all Honda dealers or just performance Honda but pay close attention during your purchase process. If not you may end up spending thousands more than advertised pricing.

Don’t ever take your vehicle to be serviced.. absolutely rude.. not only that but you make an appointment and they don’t even take your vehicle back at your appointment time.. have sat here since 140 and appointment was at 2 going on 3 and still not back for service.. complain they are short staffed but if that’s the case then limit your appointments and hours. It’s ridiculous.

I can’t say enough great things about this dealership!!! I had called and called looking for a 50. After being kicked off two local dealer lists I called here. They took my name and called me with every update and I finally got to pick one up. Absolutely amazing customer service. I live an hour away from here, but this will stay our dealership for all purchases. Thanks guys!
