I rented a car from them this week - but the car was unsafe to drive. The rear suspension was seriously damaged when they gave me the car. I couldn't drive it back to Avis - I had to get it towed back.And to top it off, they said they had to charge me $10 per gallon for the gas I "used" - but I didn't even drive that car for 10 miles. And they were unbelievably nasty when I called them to return it early.Never, ever go here for anything. Save yourself that hassle.

I did a online reservation on Tuesday 11-21-23. I prepaid and was charged and received a confirmation. I was scheduled to pick the vehicle up at 8:30 on Friday 11-24-23. I get there and the person there said we have been trying to call you about not having a car. She said that my phone was not in service which was not true. I had her call my phone while standing there and it rang.I was very unhappy that there was no car avaliable. Thankfully i was able to go to a competitor to rent a vehicle. I won'tbe back to this location . I was ptdisappointed that the rental was not there

The Avis team was great when we picked up and dropped off our rental. They got us in the road very quickly upon pick up so we could start our vacation. We enjoyed the rental they gave us. On our free upgrade. Thanks again Avis

Avis Car Rental in Fairfield Ohio is always great! There were 4 girls on this trip . Had a Toyota Camry. The trunk was huge and the car was great for our trip to Tybee Island Ga. Great customer service as usual! I always recommend Avis . I have rented from the same one for yrs . And always recommend them to family and friends. Such a relief not having to worry about my van breaking down on the road etc. No pics of the car but it is next to the golf cart . (-:

Very poor experience with the rental agents (at the Fairfield Ohio location) very rude ended up in a shouting match. I was called EVIL and told to take my business someplace else. Upon returning the vehicle, The person checking it in told me it smelled like weed and they were ashes in the car in fact, none of my occupants smoke. I was told the owner would have to determine if there would be a cleaning charge, but 15 minutes after I turned it in, I seen the vehicle driving next to me (I took pictures), and after calling the Avis 1-800 number I found they had already put a cleaning charge on my account, I still have had no communication from the owner.EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING AND DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE!!

The lady there this morning, 2/22/2023 is just plain rude. There used to be a young guy who worked the desk that was so nice and way better at handling people at the desk/on the phone. Get her some help! I went to Mike Albert and had no problems.

I had a great experience with my rental from Avis. I rented a mini-van for my vacation at the last minute. We decided we needed a larger vehicle for our trip and booked the reservation only 3 days prior to our vacation. The reservation system online was extremely simple and fast. We were able to pick up the van about an hour and a half earlier than originally scheduled which was very helpful to us so we could get it packed up and on the road. The 2 staff members that we interacted with at check in were extremely friendly and provided us with excellent customer service. I especially like the fact that they didn't even try to get us to purchase a bunch of extra things that we didn't need. Check in was very quick and easy as well. I would definitely rent from Avis again, especially this particular location.

Being a long-time Enterprise customer, I am blown away by this Avis location. So much so, they will be my go-to for rentals from now on. Staff is AMAZING. They are so courteous, friendly, accomodating, and efficient. My vehicle was ready on time, spotless, had a full tank of gas, and it was even better than I imagined. It had every bit of tech on it, where often, rentals are stripped down models. I have already told fam and friends how awesome this location is. I highly recommend them!!!

I recently rented from this location for the first time and from this experience I will never rent from this location again. The staff was very unprofessional and irrational while speaking to me. I was charged for the optional daily Liability insurance when I clearly verbally told him No & declined the option. I was charged a full hour late when in actuality I was only 30 mins late. I’ve been renting cars for over 20 years and always knew of a one hour grace period. But I was told that it was only a 30 minute grace period in such a short curt way ridden with tone that I was left speechless. I was also that it was my responsibility to clean the car beside returning & was told I needed to clean my returned car or I was going to charged a cleaning fee. Again I was flabbergasted. Never EVER have I heard of this policy. I asked what duties do the service agents perform working there and was told to quiet down. Even though I was not speaking in a loud tone and was not angry. I was asking a question.I was then told to leave and was abrupt about the entire situation. Even though I was waiting on a ride to pick me up. So I had to wait over at Cane’s.But not before one of the male rental agents came outside giving me dirty looks and then threatened to “kick my ass”.I was honestly so shocked & flabbergasted by the irrational behavior & overreaction by the staff at this location. I never once spoke badly of the staff members. I never assaulted their character. I never insulted their work ethics. I never insulted them period. I asked one question. And that was what do service agents do and they completely lost their minds.I called & spoke to corporate and also plan on speaking to the possible district or regional manager about this situation.But this was extremely uncalled for. I didn’t even get time to tell them that the vehicle I turned in never had any windshield wiper fluid in it. So I will never rent from this location ever again.The entire situation was honestly shocking to me. I’ve worked at a rental car company before and I’m extremely familiar with how off airport locations are run. And this staff was blatantly cutting corners on physical work. And was also very sly and slick about sining me up for that daily liability insurance. Which makes me think they’ve done this before and this is something they regularly do for whatever reason. But it is not at the benefit of the customer.
