“I had a great experience opening a checking account at the Norwood location of First Commonwealth Bank. I worked with Chelsea there, who is the Financial Solutions Center Manager. Chelsea and her team provide very friendly customer service and always greet you with a neighborly “hello” and a smile. Chelsea also knew I was on a time crunch and helped me in a very time efficient manner. I’m really happy I chose to bank here. The cherry on top… I got a letter from Chelsea about a week after I set up my account with basic details of when to expect my new debit card and lobby/drive-up hours. It was very professional. So happy to live nearby and have a trusted, wholesome bank like First Commonwealth. Thanks again Chelsea and team!”
“Elastic has been a lifesaver for me. They have a calculator that automatically let you know what you will pay on the amount you borrow. They are straightforward and warn you that is an expensive line of credit. Also, a financial course is given which is very helpful. Elastic is fair and the key is to borrow only what you are able to pay back.”

“Update 1 Month Later:
I had tried calling but also sent a "Contact Me" request through their website. Per the response below from Charles Schwab, the central number did reach out to me but I never heard back from the web request. In the conversation from the central number we aligned that I indeed needed local help. The person suggested that it may be best to stop by the office which I did next time I was in the area. At the office the gentleman working at the front was apologetic and got me in touch with someone to help me that afternoon, I was also provided the persons business card so i had his direct line. Great meeting and they are already helping me within a day. I'm confident they will help moving forward now that I have a contact. I wanted to increase from 1 star to 4 stars as the office visit and engagement was so quick. I would go higher but they still have an issue with initial contact via phone or website request. It should be easier to get a hold of someone but in the short term - go to the office in person to get help.

I am getting the same results of nobody answering the phone at this branch. I had talked to the general customer service number, who were fabulous, and they suggested I work with the local branch on an issue I am experiencing. I have tried several times over the past couple hours and can't get an answer on the "New Customer Consultation" option for this branch. At least have someone answer and take call back information.”
“I arrived at the NSBT Springdale branch after having a long work day and the NSBT Team welcomed me at the door entering the branch- as they always do. Debbie, the assistant manager, who assisted me; was so patient, conscientious, detail oriented, and professional. Debbie and the NSBT Team Members went above and beyond yesterday to ensure my financial/banking needs were properly addressed. Debbie took the time and patience to support me with a process involving multiple documents and completing a wire transfer. I am sure, the closer it got to closing time, the team was more than ready for me to leave! lol! However, even though it interrupted their closing- routines; they all worked together to assist me with my situation. I am so appreciative of the hard work, diligence and professionalism of the NSBT Team at the Springdale location. Debbie the Assistant Manager, under the leadership of her branch manager is just awesome!!!!! As a customer, I left feeling respected, appreciated, and that my needs were important to the NSBT Team. The culture of this branch is welcoming and inviting to all customers irrespective of race, age, gender, sexual orientation or account status. I have never observed them depart from this practice. The next day, I received a follow-up phone call from Debbie, to ensure things went well and to ask if there was anything more she could do to assist me. Needless to say, my document needs were addressed, my wire was sent and I was so relieved. I know I was only able to achieve this sense of relief due to the efforts of this Great NSBT Team at Springdale. Thank you guys so much for all you do to support customers like me!”

In specific, Alex Reyna was just the right person to go to with this, and any sort of problems or impasses. The level of customer service that I received by him was one that topped any other service i have ever been presented with. “The staff at this location are very welcoming and helpful. I was there to deposit a check and in normal conversation the banker listened and offered pertinent services and opportunities. She even went the extra mile and worked through the pros and cons of each option and made recommendations accordingly. Beyond that she quickly and efficiently assisted me with all my banking needs and I left accomplishing everything I had set out to accomplish. Also, the fact that this location is open until 7:00 p.m. really helps me address my banking concerns without having to leave work extra early.”

“I recently stopped by my bank, the Fifth Third Evendale Financial Center at 2998 Cunningham Drive Cincinnati, Ohio 45241.I was greeted by Peggy who helped me cash and deposit a check. She was so professional and helpful. We talked about vacation home mortgages while she took care of my banking needs.I was also helped by Betty. Betty gave me a new checking account card and actually laminated it for me so it would last longer. These little touches mean a lot to me. They both made my banking easier and nicer.The branch is very nice and spacious. It's also very clean. They even have nice plants and a fish on the counter which really enhances the atmosphere of the bank.I want to thank Peggy and Betty again for all their help.Do yourself a favor and open an account or get a mortgage at the Evendale.
