606 Taywood Rd, Englewood“I love this place. Great prices and great finds. This is a gem especially in this economy. I bought a purse here from upstairs a few years back and I get compliments on it all the time. The guy downstairs has great finds as well and he is open Saturdays and Sundays. The rest of the place is open everyday. ?”

501 E 5th St, Dayton“Another wonderful Goodwill store in the Miami Valley! I haven't been for awhile, but always found interesting items and great clerks working there. It is across the street from a quintessential long standing area bookstore.”
“So very appreciative for this place... Great staff and management, they were very attentive to the needs of their customers, even to those who came in not finding what they were looking for. ?”

2223 Needmore Rd, Dayton“Just discovered this shop a week ago, but I have been back twice for shopping and also to drop items off for resale. It's a very nicely laid out shop, not all junky, with great staff and wonderful items. I look forward to going back regularly.”
11:30AM - 3:30PM
504 Xenia Ave, Dayton“I was really impressed with the pricing here. Not only was everything inexpensive, but there were is plenty of things to find. The only thing I would change is paying the volunteers for their time. I understand they’re “volunteers” for a reason, but in this day and age everyone deserves payment for driving to and from work, dealing w/customers and spending endless hours in one place. I choose local thrift stores over Goodwill for this very reason and hope the workers get something more than friendly service here.”
10AM - 4PM
945 S Edwin C Moses Blvd, Dayton“Very Clean, & Staff is Super Sweet & KindGot a brand new twin mattress for one of our little and it's so comfy she loves it. Went back this weekend and found toys for the littles. Thank you for being open on Saturdays!”
“My grandma introduced me to The Gleaning Place a couple years ago, My first pieces purchased were 2 oriental, hand-painted ginger jar vases in deep navy background and pink fruit pattern painted over the navy.i saw them and immediately knew they belonged in my dining room. Ever since that very day, it’s been my absolute favorite thrift store to visit when I would come home from South Carolina (which was maybe 4 ish times since then) my husband and 2 dogs just moved back to the Dayton area (Tipp City!) and my first thought was —“ I am going to be SO close to my favorite place—the Gleaning Place!” So now, I get to enjoy coming whenever I want and it’s really one of my favorite parts of moving back since I love to shop second hand and decorate our house with re-used items. Kitty is always such a pleasure — as well as all of the amazing volunteers that work here!”
8AM - 9PM
6868 Miller Ln, Dayton“Vivian was very nice and helpful at checkout so i wanted to say thank you!. Only reason 4 stars is because I feel like prices are getting really high for used, donated things. But that's at all goodwills not just this one.”
8AM - 9PM
5400 N Dixie Dr, Dayton“Was very low on clothing to pick from in children's, items were just kind of put on shelves instead of being organized. Still got some cool things either way. Goodwill is a go to for me.”
“The people here are great. It's obviously not just a job for most of them. They actually care about people and their community. They are giving back to the community and getting paid for it. How great is that?!!”
“I'm giving 4 stars because of the staff! Everyone at this location is so nice! I hope thrift all the time and this is probably my favorite store because of the employees. They are helpful, always smiling and just so nice! Shopping here is pleasant when you don't have resting B faces everywhere you look. Goodwill and their prices though I will say is just way too much. Lower your prices Goodwill and we will all be happy :)”
