I contacted my doctor for a medical exemption for an employment opportunity of the COVID vaccination due to reactions to previous types vaccinations (documented), heart issues, family members and friends that have passed due to SAD Sudden Adult Syndrome after shots, and lack of longitudinal studies. I was prepared to be able to have a conversation with him and would have been comfortable if he countered and alleviated my concerns; or stated he was not comfortable signing it. Instead, I received a phone call indicating that my medical exemption form is ready. I picked it up to take to my proposed employer, only to find out he denied my exemption. I thought the handling of it was thoughtless, inconsiderate and cowardice.

Front office staff should reassess their mission. They don’t give medical care, but they sure can make it difficult to get care. Please treat us, the patients of the physicians, as your clients who pay for the service and can go to other practices if we choose.
