“Very good selection of clothing, organized by size, color, type. They had a large selection of women's clothing in sizes 1X - 3X (8 April 2025) Nicely kept store with helpful employees. Typical of most Goodwill stores in the area.
Note: One bathroom with hand bar for handicap access - you must get key from front counter. Picture of key below.”
“FLOC is an amazing organization supporting Montgomery and Greene County children with its generous non-profit programs. So many children are gifted with food, money, Christmas presents, school supplies and learning programs. Please support in whatever way works for you.......”
“I'm volunteering for a project in my Anti-Oppressive Social Work class. Everyone is friendly and the food is delicious. They feed a lot of people. What a great service they are to the community.”
“A very nice lady had those really good puff mints in the front. We bought about seven items, and it only came to 20 something dollars!!!1!11!! At Goodwill, that would've been 100. LMAO. But it's a cute little shop with adorable clothes.”
“Fantastic selection of higher end clothing. They collect clothes, give clothing to people who are interviewing or beginning a new job. Items not useful for working like party dresses, resort wear, and men's and women's suits (an excess are donated) are sold in the bout. Your purchases benefit people looking for jobs.”
“Went to a great quarter auction at the Amvets for Rescue Me animal rescue organization. This was a nice big place to have an event. The only drawback I see and the reason I did not give it 5 stars was there is only 1 ramp to get into the place and that is if you go through the bar (you know the drill, go in the back way to get to where you need to go) This is Amvets! Put in a couple of small ramps it would not be much and would be so much easier for those of us in a wheelchair. Well its been 3 yars and there is still no ramp in the front! Really, why is this so hard? It is harder going in the back way where there is a ramp because there is all kinds of furniture in the way. !! It really saddens me when AMVETS will not make it accessible for those of us in a wheelchair. We wonder why no one else does? ?”
“Went to go in the pool very early since my husband went. They have free weights and machines and a walking track. I think they had the treadmills, too, but didn't look to see if they still did.”
“I really like the space. They are heading involved in the entrepreneurial community in Dayton, and provide access to resources, office and meeting space at reasonable prices. They also host great events like the annual Launch Dayton Startup Week.”
“I take my Mom to play bingo there about every 2 weeks along with my Aunt and Cousin. We have a lot of fun. The food prices are pretty good. Why pay 10 bucks for a tenderloin at the food trailer when they are around 1/2 that there. The food has been pretty good. The atmosphere is fun! We've made some friends there and that's nice. The people that work there, you can also have some fun with. Tho I am not a member (I can't join because I don't have papers for family military service) I can enjoy the bingo nights”

“Went to this studio my entire childhood. Was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Would recommend it to anyone whose child has any interests whatsoever in being an artist, even for a day! Truly a magical place”
““I highly recommend The New Path Inc. for its outstanding dedication to serving the community. Its impactful programs and initiatives empower individuals to navigate challenges and pursue meaningful opportunities, making a profound difference in the lives of those it serves.””
“I recently visited the Goodwill located at 6868 Miller Ln, Dayton, OH 45414, and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. As someone who typically prefers thrift stores over Goodwill, I approached this visit with low expectations, but I found a diverse selection of items that caught my eye. The store boasted an impressive array of clothing, including skirts, shorts, outerwear, and a variety of accessories like purses, scarves, hats, and jewelry. Additionally, I was delighted to see a range of household items, from mugs to stuffed animals, blankets and seasonal decorations.
One aspect that stood out was the cleanliness and organization of the store. It felt well-maintained, making it easy to navigate through the aisles. The staff members were friendly and knowledgeable, which added to the positive atmosphere. However, I did find it slightly unprofessional to overhear staff discussing another team member openly; it created a bit of a distraction.
Checkout was a breeze, thanks to Miss Vivian, who was quick and efficient. I appreciated her mentioning it was senior day, although it was a bit awkward since I did not qualify for the discount. I was also surprised to learn about their return policy, which offers store credit within seven days of purchase, but no cash refunds.
Overall, while I didn't find a plethora of items that would compel me to return immediately, I would recommend this Goodwill location for its variety and cleanliness. It’s worth checking out if you’re in the area and looking for unique finds.”
“The ladies are always nice. Good quality products at great prices. Should you be looking for something, just ask. They have a back room full of goodies and they might just have what you are looking for.”
“A welcoming and helping hand for families in need, especially women in unexpected pregnancy situations. Free ultra sounds, free pregnancy tests, a baby pantry, classes, and loving kindness for moms and babies.”
“The Glen at St. Joseph is a sacred place to me. As a graduate of the first class of moms to complete there program I must say that it was not only a blessing for me but my children as well. Every member of the team of wonderful people who work for the Glen are blessings, not wardens, not strict at all they met us where were in life and helped to build us into successful women. If you are willing to grow and are willing to work on yourself as well as your goals it is the perfect place to get that done. Every mom in my class has earned a degree and are living well. No sad cases but we all were willing to begin to do the work from the inside out to become who we are today! I am so proud of being a graduate of the Glen at St Joseph and I am confident that any GRADUATE/ Alumni would say the same! To try and blemish there name in any shape or form is just unacceptable!”

“I shop there 4-5 times a month as I live less than one mile and it is an easy walk. I'm usually able to find what I need and always at great prices. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I only have good things to say about this store.”
“The people here are great. It's obviously not just a job for most of them. They actually care about people and their community. They are giving back to the community and getting paid for it. How great is that?!!”
