606 Taywood Rd, Englewood“I'm giving 4 stars because of the staff! Everyone at this location is so nice! I hope thrift all the time and this is probably my favorite store because of the employees. They are helpful, always smiling and just so nice! Shopping here is pleasant when you don't have resting B faces everywhere you look. Goodwill and their prices though I will say is just way too much. Lower your prices Goodwill and we will all be happy :)”

9 Orth Ave, Dayton“They've been a local service to the community for years everyone there it's so nice and it's very clean. It's like your basic cafeteria setup. If you're struggling and need a hot meal I highly recommend this place”

1405 S Co Rd 25A, Troy“They are beautiful girls' clothes, for me that is the best place to find them. Don't miss it for all those mothers who have those beautiful babies. I recommend it.”
“I take my Mom to play bingo there about every 2 weeks along with my Aunt and Cousin. We have a lot of fun. The food prices are pretty good. Why pay 10 bucks for a tenderloin at the food trailer when they are around 1/2 that there. The food has been pretty good. The atmosphere is fun! We've made some friends there and that's nice. The people that work there, you can also have some fun with. Tho I am not a member (I can't join because I don't have papers for family military service) I can enjoy the bingo nights”

1133 S Edwin C Moses Blvd Suite #392, Dayton“Fantastic selection of higher end clothing. They collect clothes, give clothing to people who are interviewing or beginning a new job. Items not useful for working like party dresses, resort wear, and men's and women's suits (an excess are donated) are sold in the bout. Your purchases benefit people looking for jobs.”
“My kids love going here for art classes. They offer adult classes, teen classes, and even for little children. Change exhibits monthly I think. Great outdoor picture opportunities. Check it out!”
“Went to a great quarter auction at the Amvets for Rescue Me animal rescue organization. This was a nice big place to have an event. The only drawback I see and the reason I did not give it 5 stars was there is only 1 ramp to get into the place and that is if you go through the bar (you know the drill, go in the back way to get to where you need to go) This is Amvets! Put in a couple of small ramps it would not be much and would be so much easier for those of us in a wheelchair. Well its been 3 yars and there is still no ramp in the front! Really, why is this so hard? It is harder going in the back way where there is a ramp because there is all kinds of furniture in the way. !! It really saddens me when AMVETS will not make it accessible for those of us in a wheelchair. We wonder why no one else does? ?”
“Went to go in the pool very early since my husband went. They have free weights and machines and a walking track. I think they had the treadmills, too, but didn't look to see if they still did.”
“I really like the space. They are heading involved in the entrepreneurial community in Dayton, and provide access to resources, office and meeting space at reasonable prices. They also host great events like the annual Launch Dayton Startup Week.”

We met an absolute angle Sue your kindness and love of doing for the kids in the area is a true blessing to so many! Thank you and Sam for our tour and we are very excited to help as much as you need in all the years to come!”

“My grandma introduced me to The Gleaning Place a couple years ago, My first pieces purchased were 2 oriental, hand-painted ginger jar vases in deep navy background and pink fruit pattern painted over the navy.i saw them and immediately knew they belonged in my dining room. Ever since that very day, it’s been my absolute favorite thrift store to visit when I would come home from South Carolina (which was maybe 4 ish times since then) my husband and 2 dogs just moved back to the Dayton area (Tipp City!) and my first thought was —“ I am going to be SO close to my favorite place—the Gleaning Place!” So now, I get to enjoy coming whenever I want and it’s really one of my favorite parts of moving back since I love to shop second hand and decorate our house with re-used items. Kitty is always such a pleasure — as well as all of the amazing volunteers that work here!”

“A welcoming and helping hand for families in need, especially women in unexpected pregnancy situations. Free ultra sounds, free pregnancy tests, a baby pantry, classes, and loving kindness for moms and babies.”
