Almost $700 for spark plugs.....spark. plugs. Not sure if they did a full tuneup, but what was said was "spark plugs".....did I say almost seven. hundred. dollars? Whew.....

Very nice people. Told me thing I didn't need done and things I did. Upfront and honest. Reasonable charges. I would recommend them for all auto work. Just moved into Elyria and was recommended for us. Great choice !!!

The best mechanic I’ve ever had. Honest, fair, timely, and wonderful at keeping you up to date. He gets to the root of the problem and always pays attention to your specific car and model. Saved lots of money because of his knowledge and expertise. (Fun fact, I had a squeak in my car that mechanics insisted was just in my head because they couldn’t find it. The first time I went to John Pais Auto, I was there for something else, and he goes, What about that squeak? Do you want that fixed? Turns out it was not in my head and a part of the brake was rusted together and not able to expand fully. Squeak fixed.)

I had a great experience. Completed exactly what I asked for with much more reasonable pricing than other auto shops and dealerships who quoted me. I will be using them for all my future needs! Performed work quickly and didn't lay on any overbearing sales tactics to try and do more than what I needed. Very honest mechanic shop!

I chose John Pais auto service based on the great reviews. NO REGRETS! Jack who is the overall Auto Guru there scheduled a timely appointment, fixed my front end noise problem on the day of my appointment, and charged a fair price. I'll be back! By the way, they could have easily claimed the problem worse than it was and more costly. They Did Not Do That! Jack and his Crew were honest and fair.
