Had my taxes done by H&R for over 14 years, I’m divorced and have the right to file my son every other year, 2024 was my final year of claiming him because he turned 18 and graduated from high school. Brenda from the abbe rd branch always took care of me, this year it seemed she could careless and the receptionist was a total moron, I had to file a amendment and turn it in to the IRS myself, never had to do this in the past. Thanks Brenda for really looking into it for me and screwing me over this time. Glad you guys got your money, but I’m still waiting for mine!!! Going elsewhere next year. Retirement is in your future Brenda, you were only nice for a reason.. and thank you so much for reaching back and returning my calls!!! Not !!!

Pretty awesome h&r block got me in same day and it was the day before taxes were due which was fantastic they got me in so quick and then they got my taxes done very quick less than a half an hour and let me use a coupon code for $150 off pretty sweet.

Absolutely the worst. Not only did they not understand my tax situation, but they did not file an extension as promised, and it took forever to even get a call back to request an update. And then I never heard back. I ended up having to redo it all myself and owe over $1,500 in penalties because it was late. Never again.
