This store is an absolute mess. Just crap thrown EVERYWHERE. The shelves were absolute chaos, carts filled with new merchandise scattered all throughout the store. Several unpriced items. The A/C is broke, they got one huge industrial fan in the back of the store. You guys gotta do better. I've never seen a store in such disarray

They close whenever they feel like leaving. Then gets attitude when asked why you are closing 40 minutes before the hours posted. Update your hours properly.

Please post correct business hours. Employees are consistently shutting down 15 to 30 minutes before posted time.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Today was my worst experience at this Dollar General. I’ll start by saying I’ve been coming here since a kid. Me and my sister come here frequently and have never had a problem. Today was a different story. Today around 3:30 pm we went into shop and, the first thing I notice is spilled milk in an aisle. Which of course happens and this is not what the review is about. As we was done shopping we go to check out. There was a long line but we wait and don’t have a problem because we get being short staffed is hard. I myself have worked in retail. We waited for about 10 minutes in line. There was an older man in front of me and my sister waiting to check out he has 2 things. The employee comes up saying we are “going to have to use self checkout” mind you the self checkout was red and not working while we was all in line. The employee fixes the self check out and the old guy tells him he doesn’t know how to use this self check out. The employee starts screaming so loud in the store that my ears still hurt. He called him slurs and cussed at him for almost a total of 2 minutes so angry. It was like watching a little kid not get his way. Then told they guy “you can do what I say or leave the store” and ended up walking away seeing that there was a long line of people. This employee was shorter and had long dreads wearing all black and a hat on but not sure his name. I felt bad for this older guy so I ended up helping him check out myself this man had $2 work of items he was shaking and he was frustrated ready to cry. We all were put into fear in this store by the things this employee was saying it was scary. Several people walked out and I wanted to as well. If you can’t handle retail I would suggest not working there and to yell at a older person for not knowing how to use self check out is absolutely ridiculous. As I walked out the store I told the employee to watch how he talks to people but he really didn’t say anything. Didn’t tell us thank you or that he’s sorry or none of that. You never know what people are going through in there everyday life. Sad to say that I will NOT be returning to this location anymore. Unreal…

If I could leave zero stars I would. I was just in there and attempted to use my $5 off of $25 coupon since it was Saturday and there was an issue with it working through the app. They refused to help even though I could prove I had a coupon. The manager approached and said there’s nothing they could do there’s no override. The cashier and manager continued to say you have to have the physical coupon- have gone every week and never had to have it in hand. After I paid they said, I’m assuming you want the receipt for next week since you acted like you couldn’t afford to shop today. I plan to call corporate. I was humiliated and refuse to shop in this store ever again.
