12 months ago this would have been a 5 star rating. But there is and the new sheriff in town. Prices are through the roof. There's a whole different vibe. There is junk all over the place. Just for example of over pricing , a vintage yellow Pyrex bowl listed at $45. I found it many other places including eBay for less than $25. This is total oblivion to what the market is doing and they don't care. I wondered why the parking lot was half full on a Saturday afternoon and now I know why.

I’m shocked by the stickers prices on items that are donated to this organization. I spent over $500 dollars on a hutch. To help one of my church members move into their new home. I ask the manager could he come down off the price. I waited 45 mins to get a resounding NO!! And we were only a week away from the discount price and he was very firm about it. I will not support or will I encourage anyone to continue to support such monopoly and bad attitude.
Lake Geauga Habitat for Humanity your out of order and have forgotten about your mission.

Terrible experience. Scheduled a delivery that never went through. So i rent a truck to go pick up the item myself. They told me because it’s the 8th day my purchase is no longer valid. So they’re just going to sell it again? and steal my money!? Outrageous

Boy has this place changed. Pay no attention to what they say they will take on their website because when they get Tony your house, they’ll only take what is in pristine condition and then make up reasons not to take the rest. Never ever will we donate to habitat, they have a new attitude and it is not good. It’s a resale shop!! Not a new furniture store! There are plenty of places that will take items. Should be called Habitat for Inhumanity.

We have visited many times. Helped my daughter set up her first apartment. Great deals, very helpful people.

Claim to be selective about furniture, apparently not about odor. Junk. Deserve a zero.

Refuse perfectly good donations even though they have shitty furniture sitting in their show room. Greedy, they prefer you buy a new couch to donate to them. I will no longer support Habitat for Humanity ReStore.

The prices are awful. Some at or even above retail. I can't stomach to buy anything there anymore bc I feel like being ripped off. These are donated items and they are selling like retail. This has happened over last year. Used to be a great place for bargains.

If you look closely, the majority of the stellar reviews are from years ago. Since then, this place has taken a nosedive. Not only is the furniture that they sell outdated and junky, but their prices are through the roof. But I admit, I have an axe to grind, I wanted to donate a car-full of stuff today, but the donation manager started to pick through the boxes like he was looking for only high-end items. I had power tools, new sanding pads, hand tools, yard supplies and the like. His aggressive attitude towards my donations made me realize they are really not there to help poor people. They cater to the wealthy. I told him take it all or leave it! So he chose to leave it in my car. If you don't have high ticket items, don't waste your time driving here, because they don't need it.

This store sucks. This year, I decided that I would be selling my house and rather than having yard sales or selling my stuff on Marketplace, I would pack my car full and donate everything to this Restore. But I started to notice that they were getting picky. When I went inside the store, there were few shoppers there. The prices on the merchandise were high. They had changed. The store used to be packed full of people. Now, it's dead. This week, I had two boxes with power tools, like a Dremel oscillator, vintage tiles from the 1930s, hand tools, etc. I LITERALLY HAD TO BEG THE GUY TO TAKE MY STUFF. The guy started picking through the boxes. I said. "Take it all or leave it!" So, he left it. He told me they have to be picky. I always thought that Habitat was for people who don't have the money to buy new tools and merchandise, where could get hard-to-find vintage items. or find neat stuff at a bargain. Not anymore! I miss the Habitat in Newbury. This Eastlake store is a joke.

Good store but they need to at least consider the practice of picking up the phone. Making yourself or yourselves inaccessible is no way to run a business.

Very rude and did not call ahead of time as they said they would. Next time I will donate furniture to the thrift store.
