I received a check for winning an internet sweepstakes that they refused to cash stating that 98% of these checks were fraudulent and asked me if I had given the sweepstakes my SSI. Yes, because winnings are taxed so they need it for a W-9. The person then told me that they had probably stolen my identity. I asked them to put the check through anyway and if it was insufficient funds that I would pay the fee because it was a legitimate marketing company that had sent the check. They refused. They wanted me to give them all the correspondence that I had received and they would decide if they would deposit the check. They could have called the marketing company to verify the win and the validity of the check. Probably taken 5 minutes of their time. That would have been good customer service. I put the check through mobile banking and it went through without an issue and the funds were posted a day later.

Personal banker (sits to the left as you walk in) refused to help and perform a service that I have had done at the bank numerous times. In fact, the branch manager performed the service for me a day ago. The employee who refused made up some false rule because she didn't want to help. Terrible customer service. I would never use this branch again.

Refused to do a wire transfer for a licensed hemp Cultivator to purchase cuttings from another licensed hemp cultivator. Big mistake on PNCs part to not support small business that are deemed legal and essential by the United States government.
