First off I'm going to say I drive past Toyota West to come here. So I go way out of my way for what is usually exceptional service. Lately this has not been the case. Last visit I had them do an oil change, tire rotation, engine air filter, cabin air filter, and a fog light bulb replacement. 1st if you buy tires from them you get free tire rotations, but you must tell them every time or they WILL charge you for it. I have been charged unknowingly several times. They have been lying lately about what they have done. The day before service I completely filled my washer fluid. They said the day of service it was low so they filled it completely. Lie. They said they checked my tire psi. Lie. When I got home after service I checked and one tire was 15 psi low. They did not properly reinstall the cover in the wheel well where they accessed the fog light. They did not reinstall the cabin air filter cover at all. They didn't reinstall the glove box hydrologic. They said my rear disc brakes are 4mm and need replaced. Last time I had new breaks put on all around and the front have more stopping power and topically need replaced first. I'm very reluctant to believe my breaks already need replaced. I'm getting a second opinion. My father is a Auto mechanic he did my mother's breaks the same day (before) she got an oil change here. They told her she needed new breaks. Brand new brakes needed replaced? I have been a loyal customer and felt they have always been an honest service department it's a shame this isn't the case anymore.

Their finance department is terrible. They loose your paperwork and then give you the give you the run around d and pass the buck when you call to get things straightened out. When turning in a leased vehicle and getting a new one they still try to bill you gor a vehicle ypu no longer ger have. Then to top it off, they mess up your credit score due to no fault of your own. It's all on them. Even after numerous phone calls do you think they offer anyone to try yo help... that's a big NOPE! Shame on you guys. If this is the way you treat long time customers I hate to see how you treat new customers! I would give them 0 stars if possible

My step-daughter brought her Toyota Corolla into this dealer today. Her trunk was randomly opening. The dealer suggested she drop the car off and come back. Her friend began to drive her home after she dropped off the car. Within a few minutes after pulling out of the lot, the dealer called and said the issue was resolved, there was some debris in the latch and it was stuck. They said it would be $191 stating that the fee just to look at it is $159 (1 hour minimum of work) plus some other fee and tax. After I had a discussion with the service rep, he lowered the service fee from $191 to $171 ($20). I have used various dealers and mechanics for over 30 years for service and have never had any experience as bad as this one. I realize there are set fees to look at cars, but being adamant to keep your set fee structure for a simple solution is sickening! Needless to say, she will be telling all her recent college graduate friends living in the northern Columbus area to stay clear from Tansky for new car purchases and/or service on their Toyotas (including roommates that also own Toyotas)!

Always an exercise in irritation. How can the drop off and pick up process be any slower? I had to bring in my car this morning for a repair on work that was done just a few months ago. I never take my car here unless I have to. Customer service sucks and prices are a rip off.

I recently visited the service dealership for the third time to get a full service done on my Prius. Unfortunately, this experience was by far the worst I've had here.Upon dropping off my Prius at the scheduled appointment, I was informed that it would be completed within an hour. However, as I patiently waited in the lobby, I couldn't help but notice that my Prius remained parked off the lot and had not even been brought into the service area. Shockingly, almost hours had passed and my Prius still hadn't received any attention. Even I spoke with service advisor, Matt and still said it will be done within 30 min - an hour. This lack of efficiency and communication was extremely frustrating. As a loyal Toyota customer, I expected better service from the dealership. Waiting for an extended period without any updates or progress reports left me feeling neglected and undervalued as a customer.Timeliness and effective communication are crucial aspects of any service establishment. It is essential for the dealership to prioritize these areas and ensure that customers are promptly attended to and kept informed about any delays or setbacks.I hope this feedback serves as an opportunity for improvement. However, based on my recent encounter, I can only give it a two-star rating. This dealership might be my last service visit. I hope that in the future, the dealership takes customer satisfaction seriously and works towards providing a more efficient and transparent service experience.

I WFH and don't drive my car much. But I'm going on a long trip this summer with my daughter and wanted to make sure my car was in top shape. I prefer to fix things before they become a serious problem, not wait until they break. Anyway, I made an appointment and had a specific list of things for them to check out. I'm not a car person like at all - pumping gas is hard for me I fully expected them to call me and say at least one thing needed done. But nope, they said everything looked great. Fixed my floor mats for me. All complimentary. I spent $0 and feel great about my upcoming trip and coming back to Tansky in the future. Everyone was super friendly too.

Tansky gave us a great deal on a 4Runner, which included two years of Toyota Care. The moment the free service was over, they used the opportunity to scam my wife out of several hundred dollars of unnecessary service, and incorrectly set our 10k service interval to 3k. I have been ignored by multiple levels of their service and management teams.

After reading a couple reviews of them never getting back to you about your car , I'm glad it's not just me ... yea they don't give a fk about you here , they don't value you as a customer even if you've dropped over a couple $1000 just for them to do some misc work , and if I was smarter , I should have taken it to the neighborhood mechanic , probably saved me a bunch of money.. Look elsewhere if you can. It's hard to find trustworthy people nowadays. And to Johanna W , don't even bother responding , Your words mean absolutely nothing. Actions speak louder than words as in. How bout you jus tho your fking job.

I've serviced my Toyotas at many other dealers and that was the first time I came to service our new 22 Rav4 Hybrid that we bought at Tansky at their service center. The service advisor was super friendly, I waited about 40 min for my service to be complete at which point my car was ready to go. They also gave it a rinse which was nice. Overall great experience.

I just bought a Toyota at a Ford dealership yesterday, because no one at Tansky would even talk to me.For some context, I bought a Toyota Tacoma from Tanksy in January of 2019 and had a great experience. I haven't been able to track down my salesman from that time, but he was wonderful. That truck was recently totaled in an accident, so I am replacing it with someone used but new to me.I wanted to continue to work with Tansky, because I'd had such a great experience and also believe so much in the power of doing local business.I sent a note through the form on the site for a 2019 Tacoma I liked on Saturday morning, and a Sales Rep called me within a few minutes. Great! We arranged for me to come out in about 45 minutes. This Sales Rep had other clients sitting at her desk, but balanced us well, making me feel seen and cared for, and doing the same with the couple sitting at her desk. She had me take the car for a test drive. I fell in love with this car on the drive. When I came back in from my test drive, the Sales Manager waved me over. She said she would help me while the Sales Rep finished up with the couple. She had me stand at the counter and I asked for the Car Fax, and the financial details. I explained that I am ready to buy a car within the next few days, and I wanted to see the bottom line price with two different down payment amounts and the exact interest rate.Sales Manager never asked me to sit down and discuss the offer. She never treated me like she was serious about me as a customer. I spent about five minutes standing at the counter speaking with her. She gave me a print out of the price of the car with taxes and fees in a general sense, but nothing specific to my credit score, address, etc. even after I asked for it. I asked if the finance person was in and she said she didn't want to bother him and she could do it, but she never gave me any info I asked for. When I asked questions about the details of the price she told me she was "only making $400 on this" more than once, and that the price wouldn't change. I never asked about the price changing, only let her know that this is a significant purchase for me (isn't $35,000+ significant for all of us?) and wanted details. I asked about paying cash vs. financing and she said the dealership gets "kickbacks" from the bank, so that wouldn't affect the price and she would prefer I finance. I realize that the haggling days of car purchasing are over, and that's not what I was doing, but I need to understand the financial decision I am about to make. It is her job to help me understand it and feel comfortable with it.I went home, slept on it, and decided to buy this truck Sunday morning. I put the money in my checking account, and called the Sales Rep and told her I want to buy it, make sure it's still available, and let her know I'd be there in an hour. I also asked again if the finance person would be there because I wanted to talk this offer through. It was Sunday, and I asked if we could do business today because I want to buy this car. She said yes.About 20 minutes later, I get a call from the Sales Rep saying her manager said not to "waste my time" because the price is the price and suggested I not even come in.I thanked her and turned around. It's fine that the truck costs what it costs, but to be so quickly dismissed? You won't even sit down with me to talk about it? Help me understand the details of this purchase?I am very disappointed in not being taken seriously. I am a 35 year old professional woman who simply wanted to sit down and hear from the finance person what the best options are to pay for this vehicle. I have been in sales and customer service for over 15 years. This is not how you do business. The Sales Manager was rude, dismissive, and, frankly, I think she lied to me by suggesting that she will only make $400 on this car. I let her know I was a returning customer, and that means a lot to me. I feel like she took me for someone very young and very poor - I

My key stopped working on a 2008 Toyota RAV4... it wouldn't even manually unlock the door so, I was freaking out... my husband got me inside the car... so I went to Batteries Plus (with my windows rolled down haha). Batteries Plus couldn't get the key to work with a new battery... so, I went to Toyota--prepared to take a taxi home because it was late in the day & it's like $600 to get a new panel for the key to work again... so, the cute kid checks me in & they start wrapping my car in plastic... then, the Service Advisor--I'll call him Mr. GQ--he chases down the old guy driving off in my car--he has him get out & he clicks my key with his magic hands! The key started working again! I don't know how & I don't know why but, I am so grateful & it is very obvious to all that God spent a little more time on Mr. GQ... I also bought a new Highlander here and needed special care with the title and everything worked out great! Best engines ever!!!
