I’ve been disappointed multiple times over the past 7 months. I called ahead (last night at 5:30 pm) and they said they’d be accepting items today. I was here 30 minutes after opening and they changed their minds. It’s very frustrating…I believe in re-using items and not sending useable items to a landfill, but this place isn’t a good partner.

Review edit as of 9/19:I spoke with the district manager and had a wonderful conversation. He apologized, understood, and did everything he could to make it right. Excellent customer service.I went into the store to get my items today that had been processed and spoke with the store manager, Tori. She also apologized and said if I ever had trouble again to please have someone get her and bring it to her attention.Owning up to issues and handling them is what a customer is looking for. Thank you both for remedying the situation.I’ve been coming here for years, and just in the past year it’s gone downhill terribly.I called ahead and asked if they were taking items, loaded everything up and drove over, just for them to tell me they’re not taking anything and too full. Frustrating to say the least.Then I finally found a time they would take my items. Sold a decent amount of things, but realized a part of a costume was in my “passing” items. I asked where the rest of the costume was since it wasn’t in either of my bins (buying or passing). The girl in charge said my bag was likely overflowing and it’s not their problem. I have been selling here for 5 years, I know not to make them too full. So my costume is likely floating around in someone else’s bag and I didn’t get paid for it, or receive it back. She was rude, didn’t offer a solution, or even attempt to fix it. If you want to sell clothes here, just drive a little further and go to the Sawmill location. Their customer experience is much better.

Tori, Ashley, & Cheryl at the Dublin location and when I say the vibe and energy is EVERYTHING!! It is! Tori was very informative when I called and broke down everything over the phone for me about an item I was looking for.

Great experience yesterday, thanks to Olivia and Tori. I arrived with my child in a backup umbrella stroller and realized I needed an upgraded backup stroller. They helped me with my purchase and I was able to stroll my child away in comfort. Thanks, ladies!

Zero stars for customer service. Employees had nasty attitudes. Rude and unprofessional. Miserable about their job so takes it out on customers maybe? Would not come back to this location again. Wasted gas and time to drive here only to be told to come back tomorrow.. never heard of that before. Very disappointed.

Great service and friendly staff! I have sold items here a few times and have received a fair price. I have also shopped here and have found some great deals.

Service here is better than the other location. Edajah is the best! I loved working with her she is friendly, nice , she is amazing i walked in several times and she immediately helped me ,Thank you so much for the wonderful service.,???Even if another once upon a child is close to you, this one is worth the drive

I used to go here every couple of months but the last several visits have been disappointing.Prices have gone up too much where they are close to prices of new baby clothes..this is especially true for newborn/0-3 single items priced around $7 for something used.Selection isn’t so pleasing either. In winter I wanted to buy fleece baby pajamas but they had almost none available, around Easter the girls dresses were just sundresses, not the fancy Easter items. Boys have hardly any good dress clothes. Shoes are overpriced or too worn looking, very limited selection too.Their buy policies are not sustainable either. You can drop off one small bag that they tell you might take a week to go through, then when they are ready you have 24 hours to go back to the store where they offer you next to nothing. I went to sell kids disney costumes and was offered $1. They claim they buy for 25% of what they will sell items for, but costumes on their racks are listed around $8-$10.Another problem is how dusty/dirty the store is. The ground should be swept up more frequently because there are dust bunnies under clothing racks.Anyway I am writing all of this in hopes that the management can change policies/fix these issues. I think people are selling more on Facebook marketplace because the store is not competitive in price or convenience anymore.

This location is great. All of the employees have been very nice and turn around for my sell items has been reasonable. Highly recommend, but call first to make sure they are accepting drop offs before you go because they seem to get very busy some days.

Not a very positive experience at this location. Went to drop off 3 totes but was told that they will only accept 2, no biggie other than the fact one tote was just shoes and it says in their buying policy they should’ve taken them. The employees at drop off were very rude. They said it would take a week to go through, when the Cincinnati stores only take 2-3 hrs after a drop off. When I went to pick the clothes back up I asked if all Columbus One Upon A Child stores were at a weeks wait. The lady working said “Due to COVID our processing times are longer, Cincinnati stores are probably a week or more now too”. Then proceeded to blame the difference in stores on the fact that the Columbus stores are owned by corporate.

This place is a joke anymore. They barely buy anymore and they price clothing above what you would pay for new at Walmart. They change their buying rules every day depending on what they feel like that day. There will be a Facebook post about buying clothing and what they need and you bring it and then an employee will bark "we aren't taking anything else today." How am I supposed to know that!? I have not had a good experience in about 2 years.

I have been trying to bring a tote of clothing for a week. I wasn't bothered until this morning. I called shortly after they opened and asked if I was able to bring it in and the girl proceeded to argue with me. I was told twice last week to check back tomorrow because they were not accepting anything else, she said they accept items everyday and talked to me like a child, absolutely unacceptable to treat someone like that. I think it comes down to, not one person really wants to be there so they are miserable and take it out on the customers/sellers. I will not be doing business here because nobody deserves to be talked to the way I was this morning.

Came to bring in a little used activity center and was practically turned away within 30 seconds of walking in the door. This place will be a hard pass in the future for my wife and I.
