This gym is nasty because they're not entirely remodeling that's not right can't keep things in bad shape because I don't want it to collapse. This gym is bad quality because not good owner showers are not hot and lots of broken equipment. Also there no suit spinners and they're not maintaining the pool. There's not enough people too. Lots of broken locks. See ya never metro company. This gym needs to shut down for good. Now I'm going to a gym that'll best suit my needs.

Love this gym - I use Active and Fit Direct through my employer so I have access to quite a few gyms but choose Metro as my go to. I love the abundance of equipment (pretty much never waited to get a set in) and how friendly the community is.Plus, nothing beats ending the morning workout more than saying good morning to all the silver sneakers class attendees :)

This place has really gone downhill in the past few years. As of December 2023, nearly half the cardio equipment (already limited number of machines) is out of order or not fully functional. Overall the place just feels dark, dingy, and uncared for. Staff is friendly and it’s usually not too crowded, so that’s a plus.

their dumbells are not screwed on properly and feel like their loose. because their loose, you get your hands pinched.also kind of dirty and stuff doesn’t get wiped down.if u are okay with that, then then the 30-something gets you the free weights u need.

I am not a person who usually writes a review or gets upset with the situation this easily. We signed up for Level 1 class for both of my girls. We reached there & the instructor was absolutely clueless. I explicitly told her my daughter took classes pre-Covid and needs a refresher. I repeat they haven’t been in the pool for 2 years. She told them to be in a separate swim lane all by themselves without giving them any refresher. My younger daughter was almost drowning as she reached middle of the pool by herself. She was scared & sweating as No was next to her. Luckily my other daughter who could swim a little helped her little sister out of the pool. This instructor made NO effort whatsoever to help my kid get out of the pool. This is dangerous and absolutely unacceptable. This instructor stayed on her side of swimlane. Even parent with another kid mentioned my daughter was drowning. The reason I m writing a review is that this should not happen to any other kid. Now my kid has a fear of getting in the pool. They need to give training to their instructor how to deal with human life.

Nope. No, thank you. I pass. First time of a membership inquiry, no one at front desk or manager office for 10-15 minutes during early afternoon. So, I took it upon myself for a semi-walk thru. Yep, walked right in and no one even approached me. Oh yes, upon entering, you'll be hit with the chlorine from the pool. A few weeks later, I came back with a work associate to get an official membership description & pricing and walk-thru. OMG! I've never seen such poor conditions. The ladies locker/room and showers were unsanitary. Free weights, exercise equipment were absolutely disgusting! All this for $34.99 month plus $39 annual fee.

They have one dedicated bench for flat bench and a guy that insists on taking it for two hours. If someone is doing squats on the other rack, you are SOL. If you need the elevated platform for a spotter, you are SOL. Just go to Worthington

Parking: This gym has tons of parking, I don't see parking ever being an issue. Desk Staff: Walked inside and asked for guest pass, the worker at the desk was very friendly. I mentioned I was touring gyms trying to find something better than where I currently go. I filled out a guest form, very basic, then was granted access to workout. When I left, I stopped by the desk to talk, I could've talked to them all day, wry friendly staff. Locker Rooms: At the front desk they give you a free key with a locker number on it, to access a locker while you're working out. The locker room was large and had many lockers. The restrooms were decent and the sinks were okay. There is a sauna which is nice. Only negative was the open group shower, no privacy. Ambiance: This gym seemed to have all the essential Equipment for a great workout, but all equipment seemed dirty and old. I did also notice this gym has an indoor pool, walking track, massage therapist, and tanning beds. Lots of potential, but definitely in need of a fresh renovation.

My daughter took 10 private swim lessons here. The pool area and family locker rooms are absolutely disgusting. It's as if they've never been cleaned. Scheduling isn't very buttoned-up or very user friendly like it is at Goldfish school. We started with a teacher and after 1 swim lesson he was out of town for the next 3 weeks and then after the 2nd lesson he was booked with another student so we had to switch teachers. The teachers are pretty young (high school and in college) so they don't always know how to handle a young child.

I'm visiting the town for one month only, I have been looking for a gym for the period I'm staying here and because of my bad luck my aunt took me to that place. Before I signed in I asked the guy in the front desk if it's safe of not to use the lockers and he said it's very safe and that no theft happened before The lockers have no place to use my own lock and in the same time there lockers are not safe at all, it very loose, their keys can open multiple lockers which happened with me before, and that caused that someone entered the gym and opened my locker with a random key and stole my wallet and went to Walmart and made transactions for more than $1200 plus he now have my identity card which has all my information. Because of that I can't go back home cause I won't be able to catch my flight or even drive a car. I called 911 and made a report and guess what? The officer realized that there is no cameras in the gym either inside or outside so he couldn't get any evidence. And Walmart said that non of my cards were used in the store and that the robber used my cards online. I am just wondering how can a gym has no cameras anywhere what if a crime happened, how would we know who did it, what if my car got stolen from the parking lot. My pass was also in the wallet, so probably the robber can still go in and do more theft using my pass.and that day when I was robbed which was Sunday I saw a guy who walked in with me and talked to the girl on the disk and asked for a power drink from the fridge, he didn't scan his pass, so anyone can walk in. It's also very unsafe for the kids who goes to that place, what if someone was kidnapped, how would we know when or how it happened. This is a very unsafe location. I don't recommend it to anyone and actually all my family who lives here will freeze their membership cuz they don't feel safe after what happened with me. I still have 2 weeks that I can go back and workout but I won't ever go back to that place. If I'm paying money at the gym I need to at least feel safe , anyway it was a mistake from the beginning to join a place without asking about its reputation.

the gym is unsafe my locker was locked and someone broke in stole my money and IDs credit cards used my cards and cost me allot of time and frustration. they have no security cameras and it's not safe for kids. I would never recommend this place for anyone I believe the theft was an inside job.

Completely disorganized. Two weeks in a row we were trying to get into semiprivate swimming lessons, took time, drove to the place just to turn around and leave. All possible excuses for missing the appointed time. Avoid this place if you count on somewhat good service

I used a free pass before getting a membership. This gym is not handicapped or disabled accessible. The front door leads to a flight of stairs. I called before going and was told there was an elevator but when I arrived, the front desk staff said there was not. The pool only has ladders to enter, no steps for anyone with limited mobility. The staff was very disinterested in me. I wasn't offered a tour or any information on the gym itself. I had to ask where everything was and where to get a key for the locker room... The whole experience was very disappointing.

This is a great gym! I've been a member of a number of gyms in the area, and ran into crowded facilities, theft, broken equipment, etc. When i go to work out, I want to be able to have focus on my workout and not be distracted with nonsense. After many disappointing trips to my previous gym, i made the decision to return to Metro Fitness in Dublin, despite the longer travel time. Metro Fitness is not perfect. It wasn't long ago that the locker room was carpeted, which was always musty. The weights and associated equipment was probably purchased in the 80s. But Metro has all of the weights and machines i want to use. The weight area is clean and open, and i have never had to wait on any equipment. The patrons have good gym etiquette and it isn't full of kids. The staff that i have interacted with are friendly and helpful. What is not to like about this gym?

This was earlier this year, but have decided to leave a review. A nice young man at the front desk with long blond hair helped me sign up for a membership. I like the basic feel to the gym. It has free weights and no one bothers you. Want to drop a weight, go ahead. Want to deadlift, grunt, free squat. All good. I left planet fitness for this.
