Dr Todd Lightell and the nurse listened to our concerns with 14 year old dog. Dr Lightell was articulate about possible solutions and informed us of the cost for each action and let us determine what course of action based on his recommendations. Both the Dr and nurse handled our dog well and engaged with him. We are new to the area and were looking for a vet and we're extremely pleased with the office, people and knowledge. He will definitely be our new vet.

Everyone that works at DVC treats our Scoochie like family. Since COVID has required owners stay in their cars, they’ve gone the extra mile to keep up their awesome service and care. Matthew is the best and I could just talk to him for hours about dogs!!! Thank you to all the staff and vets at DVC. You are a special place.

I've never written a yelp review but I just want to commend the doctors for their work. I've owned mice for 5 years now, and in the past have had an incredibly hard time finding a good vet, even those who claimed to be exotic turned out to either: A. not be helpful, B. know less about mice than I do, or C. be so unfit to care for them that they do not even know how to handle or pick up my mice. It's demoralizing to hear vets say things that I know to be false or do things that I know is wrong for my mice-- and has proven to be a fatal mistake in the past (one injected my mouse with fluids without telling me and using a needle you would use on dogs, leaving a very large wound and ultimately killing her the ride home). A lot of times I would just come in and tell them what my pets have and what they should give because they'd just have no clue! Thankfully Dr. Lightell is very proficient at his job and incredibly knowledgeable on small animals and mouse care. I can tell that he has a lot of experience working with small animals and has confidence in what he does. He is also very empathetic towards my mice and doesn't treat them like they're lesser because they're "just mice" and not worth the effort/money. I found the Dublin Animal Clinic after doing long and hard research when my mouse Poppy fell ill with heart disease. I'm glad to have done so because this is the only place I'll ever take my mice to! The staff is great and they give you follow up calls to make sure your pet is okay. They even wrote me some heart-felt letters after my Poppy and Beatrice passed away that I really cherished. Also yes they're a bit expensive but you're paying for quality and personal care that you wont find elsewhere. I think it's well worth the money, and they've once waived some fees for me because my pet passed away (due to no fault of their own) which I greatly appreciated. This place definitely treats you and your pets right-- no matter how small!

This veterinarian is absolutely fantastic my dog lady is always well taken care of by Dr. Lightell. I am very happy their services. Lady is too she actually likes seeing Dr. Lightell. I highly recommend the Lightells.

My sweet Oliver had a dental last week and needed six tiny teeth extracted! The team worked quickly to get things done and managed his pain afterwards, and sent him home to me with everything I needed to know to make sure he was comfortable. A few days later and we are back on tour at the festivals downtown

I've been bringing my pets to Dublin Vet Clinic for a decade. They are the only non-family members I trust to watch my dog, and they have a magic touch with his nail trims (which is very difficult, he's a real drama king!) The staff is friendly and treats you like family. The doctors make knowledgeable recommendations but respect your own decisions about how to proceed with your pet's care. Highly recommended.
