Updated: We decided not to hold a grudge againts these fine gentlemen who very promptly and professionally contacted us to address our concerns.We would be lacking in our duty to follow the Golden Rule, as we preached below, if we failed to modify our review against the totality of these circumstances. Yes, we still stand by our experince and think Ken needs to rethink his approach. But, the managers heard our complaint and have genuinely listened! We are grateful. We look forward to enjoying this beautful store in the years ahead.Best,The ConroysOriginal Review: We brought a $30,000 eternity band to be appraised for insurance purposes. Upon dropping off to Ken, possibly the rudest sales person we have ever met, proceeded to lecture us on the meaning of cubic zirconia. His implication being our ring was fake. This after we handled him the 12 GIA certificates. We laugh it off.Then, we request to have our pending wedding date engraved into the ring, which he wrote down properly, but then proceeds to incorrectly engrave. So now we have to wait while they refill the engraving and do it again. I show up today to pick up the ring and Ken asks me with disgust, "Why do you care, it will wear off anyway" when I questioned him as to why the engraving was off center and crooked.Ken is the type of arrogant sales rep we can all do without. He projects an attitude of superiority. This beautiful store should be a place of happy memories, not a place of small mindedness where the sales associates accommodate their own insecurities by trying to belittle their customers.Ken should be encouraged to read, "How to Win Friends and Influence People," by Dale Carnegie. At worst maybe give him a refresher in the importance of following the Golden Rule in the sales process.Ken: your one star attitude is dragging down a five star store. I have wanted a mother’s ring for a few years. I finally found a picture of one that I liked. I checked around before deciding on the Diamond Cellar. I brought my picture and met with Gabe and Igor. They were both extremely helpful. With Igor’s expertise, we modified the ring just a bit to make it more my own. The two of them took my vision and made it into the perfect ring, which I will cherish forever! The process was seamless and the ring was finished on the day promised. I highly recommend the Diamond Cellar!

Absolutely an amazing place to design custom wedding rings! I worked with Gabe (sales consultant) and Dan (designer), both were friendly and amazing to work with. I had a design for a wedding ring set in mind and came into Diamond Cellar to see what it would take to pull it all together. Same day I had an initial drawing that was identical to what I had in mind. They walked me through what the next steps would be from the design process to receiving them. I’ve been so impressed by the process and the communication between all the steps! It was an absolute pleasure working with them and they were almost as excited as I was to receive the final product!! I will be referring all my friends and family to them. 1000% would do business with Diamond Cellar again. Note: They are a LGBTQ friendly place to work with.

Gabe Simms provided my fiancé and I above and beyond service. Gabe was professional and highly driven to assist me at my own pace in making selections for engagement and wedding rings. There was absolutely zero negative pressure from himself or his supporting staff and was happily educating me throughout the entire process so that I could make the best decisions for myself. I thoroughly enjoy going to see Gabe at the Diamond Cellar. He was excited about my hopes and dreams and assisted in making them possible. Could not ask for a better “diamond guy.” Gabe’s attention to detail and motivation to provide excellent, specialistic service is worth every penny that you put toward a priceless gift for someone you care about. Great pet friendly jewelery store! This is a large space with all sorts of high end jewelery, watches, pens, and purses. I was helped by Daniel who from my understanding has been with the company for over a decade. If he’s available I would try to have him help you as he knows pretty much everything:)

The Diamond Cellar is an institution in Columbus. I bought an anniversary diamond ring for my wife 35 years ago from them. This time I was interested in a Rolex watch and sales associate Daniel Mikel made me feel welcome during my visit. We had a pleasant discussion of our common interest in watches and I expressed the specific models I desired. After some passage of time, Daniel secured my preferred watch and now I’m the proud owner. From start to finish I was made to feel comfortable and valued as a customer.
