I will only be using Boyd Rad from here on out. I tried to go to another shop because I thought I was getting a deal. To put it nicely it wasn’t worth it.
The techs at Boyd Rad are the nicest and are super thorough. They never try to oversell you but inform you when things are needed. Would strongly recommend them to all of my friends and family.

I paid $1500 to fix my AC in 2022 and two years later my AC was broken. My warrantee was 2 years and it was 2 months outside of that timeframe.
I expressed that it didn’t seem fair that I paid so much money for it to last for 2 years and they said 2 years is a long time for a fix to work. Doesn’t make sense to me but I am convinced that they fixed the wrong issue and now they are saying it will be $2500 to fix it again. Terrible customer service and not a good way to conduct business in my opinion. I will not be going here again.

Dropped my car off to plug my tire and they disconnected my A/C in this heatwave? I don’t understand why it was disconnected or turned off just to plug a tire.

Their customer service is the best, Jennifer is the best. I have a fleet vehicle and was getting the runaround at another Goodyear store that is close by. Jennifer helped me immediately with my blown out tire, ordered the replacement tire and promised to have it done by the next day, and it was going to be days at the other place.

They caused more problems than help. Vehicle was vandalized in their lot, broken windshield, stolen stereo. 4 months to repair and upon receiving the vehicle, the repair was questionable at best. These guys are hacks that avoid accountability at all costs. Save yourself the hassle and take your money elsewhere.

The ONLY SHOP IVE EVER USED…. I worked here, I know the people who Own and Work there. I’ve let them put engines in and transmission and both cars ran better after that and I’m still driving the car we put the transmission in and 175,000miles later and it’s running better than ever? There is nothing better than taking your car home after getting it fixed and YOU NEVER HAVE TO TAKE IT BACK FOR THE SAME PROBLEM! You have Jenn Jordan and Jeff and a good crew of mechanics on deck. Those 3 have dedicated themselves to give the BEST CAR SERVICE you can receive up or down Sawmilll Rd there is another Goodyear Store at Powell Rd and Sawmilll Rd ?DO NOT GO TO THAT LOCATION? thats like a Co. Store? At Boy-Rad it’s a Family owned and there is a TON OF DIFFERENCE. They carry many brands of tires and they can fix about anything, IVE WITNESSED so stop by for just an oil change they would be happy to service your car??

As a certified technician, I was displeased with the work done to my mother’s car. My mother had some front suspension work done including lower control arms o her jeep with roughly 110k miles. Performing an inspection, I found the ball joints and bushings severely damaged as if they were not replaced. I had my shop foreman as well as other technicians look at the work that had been done and they said that it seemed as if they didn’t even touch the vehicle. I took photos and let my mom drive one of my cars in the mean time because it was a safety hazard given the current condition. They said they would redo the work under warranty. Needing tie rods, she accepted paying for those to be replaced on top of the warranty work. They told her she would have to pay $100 for the alignment which was part of the warrantied job of replacing the control arms. After asking if the could warrant the alignment even after my mother insisted on continuing her business with them by getting her tie rods replaced, they still charged her. Over the phone, the gentleman seemed not to care much about what I had to say and explain how an alignment is necessary for the work that was warrantied. I have never seen a vehicle with new control arms let alone new parts in general, fail the way they did. Both ball joints were extremely loose and both bushings were cracked. I have worked for Goodyear in the past and do not think that this has been a good instance great customer service.

Unfortunate review. Jennifer (manager and also owner’s daughter) is pleasant. Pricing is average. Waiting room is clean and spacious. However, the mechanic with pink hair and glasses used the incorrect duck on the tire machine and scratch the face of my rim. Hope he gets the training he needs.

Boy Rad, has helped me twice now with vehicle emergencies, were I needed to travel back to another state and it being the day before a holiday, and then getting my vehicle fixed before they close for the day. Prices are reasonable and they do an excellent job of repairing and getting you back on the road asap.
