“A week ago today my wife, three month old son, and myself were on the way home from Columbus after a weeklong stay in a children’s hospital when our car overheated and forced us to stop at a rest area to regroup. A tow truck driver was at the rest area when we pulled in dropping someone else off, and that’s how my family met Derek. As soon as he saw my wife and son, he was insistent that he was not going to leave us and would get us home safely. Not only did he do that, but he was a perfect gentleman who made sure my precious cargo was comfortable and had all their needs met while doing so.
