A great ace location. They had a good selection of things but unfortunately didn't have the item in the size I needed which is ok, just unfortunate. The staff was very helpful and friendly. If I was in the area I'd come back to this location again.

This place was AWFUL, and I’m sorry I had to go there. I wanted to pick up some STHIL equipment and needed some questions answered. They were the only STHIL dealer open in my area. The guy that helped me knew less than I did, and I didn’t know a lot. I ended up buying equipment due to necessity, and using YouTube for some answers, but I’m sorry I spent my money there.

Went to ACE on Tuesday May 21st(10 am) to get my mower blade sharpened. Gentleman with dark hair, beard and wearing glasses said should be done Wednesday(tomorrow). I left the blade and my info and went on my way. I waited until Friday May 24th and went back to ACE by the gun counter/ chain saw area and waited from 10:15 am-10:25 am( no one was there). I finally went to the lady at the front counter and asked could she call someone to the gun counter/ chain saw area( she did). Went back to the gun counter/ chain saw area and an older gentleman( white hair, balding, mustache with glasses) asked could he help me? I said I was there to pick up my mower blade. He had trouble finding it, so the guy I dropped it off to on May 21st helped him find it. They found it in the cabinet, looked at each other and laughed. Older gentleman states it' s not done , sorry. I get my mower blade, go to WalMart, buy a file for five bucks and do it myself. I try to support local businesses, but I will do all my future shopping at Menards or Lowes. This place is a joke. Alan R. Delaware, OH

Tyler at ace hard ware turned my experience around! I was upset because I was not sure were to find file line for my sons mini bike, I asked the man working the front desk who was not friendly and told me to go look at an isle and just pointed. Obviously I needed help and no one was in line but he did not bother helping at all! I was irritated and about to give up but tyler came to the rescue! He was so friendly and helpful! Because of him I decided to but my part here. Thank you Tyler! You are a new at person and a great employee! Ace should be proud to have you!

As I was looking at E-GO electric mowers, chain saws etc., right next to the register I asked an Ace employee , young guy with a beard behind the register if Ace gave military discounts. He says yes, so I asked him to call someone over to talk about a certain mower. I decided to get the mower and a chain saw. They were brought to the counter, where the guy I originally talked to, started to ring my purchases up. I reminded him of the military discount, and he told me he would credit me right before he end of the sale. He continued to ring me up, and even said oh crap once he was finished. He forgot to give me the discount he had already told me twice about , and had the E-GO mower and chain saw brought up to the counter. He then goes on to tell me that they don't give discounts on Ego products. I reminded him that I asked him twice already and that I could go to lowes and get 10% off. He tells me , that I can still go to lowes, after he rang everything up.
I ended up returning only the chainsaw and spoke to the manager about their employee, which he didn't care about. Then the manager returned everything on my first purchase which was $1000, then re- charged me $600 for just the mower...I'm still waiting on my $1000 to be returned, it's been 2 days... Its not about being in the military, it's about having a little respect for everyone...and this place doesn't, especially since the manager was a marine veteran supposedly....shame

They allow people to set up food trucks in their parking... And when Bubblebee tea overcharged me, the owner said I should never speak to him that way... I was the third person in a row that this food truck ripped off...
I thought Ace hardware would be better at protecting its customers and not allowing thieves to work out of their lot.

Went in to get a new weed eater, needed an employee to get it down since they have them hanging for some stupid reason. Told cashier what I needed, got blown off, asked another associate for help he said he would be right back before disappearing into the back. Stood around for 10 minutes waiting and he never showed back up so I left. Never shopping there again.
