Amy is great all dogs. Her obedience class for puppies was great and all the dogs were well behaved by the end of the classes.

The owner/trainer was great! She was very thorough with the training, even giving extra advice on things that were not necessarily part of the training the dogs were learning. I would highly recommend Homestead Dogs if you are looking for training for your dog!

My husband and I had to board our dogs while we went on a trip out of state. We had never boarded them before and were nervous. Our older dog is a rescue and is very anxious as well as dog selective. I found Homestead Dogs after doing a Google search and I'm so happy I did! My dogs were returned to me happy and healthy, and our older dog did great with the staff! The facility is very clean and there is plenty of outdoor space for the dogs. If we ever need to board them again we will definitely return to Homestead!

Amy was professional and took great care of my dog during my vacation. This was my dog's first time at a boarding facility and he came back happy as can be. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing space for their dog to stay.

Fantastic dog training. Amy is instructive, patient, kind toward dogs and humans. she is well educated in dog training, has a great facility, and knows how to adjust for special need clients. Also does boarding, group lessons, and private lessons

We just finished our training for our 2 very happy rambunctious Labs. They loved going to see Amy. We were very pleased with how much our dogs responded to the training (and treats). They are definitely more enjoyable to be around. They just want to please, and we learned how to bring that responsiveness out with Amy’s guidance. We would definitely recommend Amy and her training techniques.

My pandemic rescue puppy was a bundle of anxiety who hadn’t learned a single command, still had daily accidents, and was impossible to catch if he got loose and started chasing our ducks. He was just over one and I started a new job, so we decided to send him to Homestead Dogs for a train and board with Amy and Lyndsey. We got videos of his progress every weeknight and Amy was always very responsive to texts. We got our dog back at the end of his month stay and he’s a whole new dog! He’s still anxious, but he’s managing much better, he is off leash trained, and the accidents are minimal. We don’t have to worry if he regresses in the future because we can bring him back for free touch up lessons! We couldn’t be happier and I’m so glad we went with Homestead Dogs for our big goober!

Amy and her team have trained three of my beagles - who can be very stubborn, let me tell you. They now have the foundations to happy and safe puppy lives. They listen well and allow me to continue their training back at home much easier. Amy and Lindsey are great!

My dog Gracie just finished a month long training camp with Homestead dogs. I reached out to Amy prior to getting my puppy a couple different times asking questions and she was always helpful and quick to respond. My goal with Gracie is to be a Therapy Dog and even though I am not a first time dog owner I have never really “trained” a dog. I first did the the group puppy training. Which was great. It was in a group setting and it was just as educational for me as what it was for Gracie. It was also nice to have Gracie around other puppies her age and also have interaction with other people. Amy knew what my goal was with Gracie and has reassured me she felt her temperament was good for this. We the had an evaluation with Amy and told her our goals and our budget. She personalized a training plan that was exactly what we wanted and needed. I feel confident saying that Homestead Dogs can train any dog no matter the goal. Her facility is clean and spacious. I have never boarded a dog before but would never hesitate to board Gracie here. Gracie finished her training a week ago. After training it was time to train us! Ever since my husband and I were trained our Gracie girl has been perfect. We just needed the right tools to pick up where training left off and she went above and beyond doing that for us. During the month long training Gracie also worked with the assistant trainer Lyndsey. She was fantastic as well. We received daily pictures and videos with commentary explaining what they were doing and why. Those videos were very informational and something that I go back and look at. We had exceptional experience with Homestead dogs and look forward to Gracie’s next steps with them.
