My transmission went out in my truck and after calling several places, Northwest Automotive was the spot! Tim and his staff were nothing short of amazing! Every question I had was answered thoroughly and I was treated as a customer, not just a dollar sign! The quality of service I received made me feel at ease knowing my truck was in good hands. Several days after dropping the truck off Tim gave me a call to let me know that it was ready! Great people, honest prices! Do business with the local guy, it makes a difference on both ends!

After not calling me the day they were working on it I had to call them the next day to see if it was finished. They said that they found what they suspected might have been the problem but it did not fix the problem. Apparently they never took it for a test drive

This place was wonderful! I was in Defiance visiting family when my check engine light came on. Not only were they able to fit me in right away, but they were able to fix the problem quickly and for a reasonable amount. I would highly recommend this business!

On my way back from a funeral in Fort Wayne to Brighton Michigan, my Subaru finally failed just outside Defiance. On advice from a tow truck driver, he suggested Northwest Automotive. And I am so glad he did.I was able to work remotely with Tim, the owner, to replace my engine and cooling system, process the payment remotely, and get everything ready. He made this process so easy for me. All I needed was to drive down and pick the car up afterhours. I drove it last night and everything worked perfectly.The repairs were very affordable too. They took us in immediately with no appointment after we go stranded driving through Defiance even though they definitely didn’t need to. Everyone we talked to was fair and quick, and pricing was very reasonable!

Just got the dyno numbers back from a 4.6 2v that Tim blueprinted and assembled!! It ran a beautiful 535hp on only 9lbs! This review is months late, but I'm glad to finally write it. In late January I was completely stuck in the snow as my car slid into a ditch on a highway ramp. I was awaiting my insurance to send me road side assistance (which would take hours). As I was waiting, Tim from Northwest Automotive came and pulled my car out of the ditch, completely saving the day (and me!) I cannot thank him enough. So wonderful to know Good Samaritans exist in the world. Thank you!!

when I took my jeep Cherokee 2007 for the first time I am very spectacle cause I just don't take my car to any mechanic when I took it to Northwest Automotive cause something was wrong with my car they actually knew what was wrong they called me and explain to me what was going on with my car they ask me if I wanted it fix I said yes this place is the best I will always take my car to Northwest Automotive best mechanic ever thank you so much...
