I went in with my fiancé with intentions of buying a dresser. We found one that we really liked in there “priced as is” section so we planned to buy it. I asked the owners wife if she would come down $29 on a different piece of furniture in their “used” section that was priced at $129, not only did she abruptly say no as if I offended her but she also was extremely rude. I simply stated that we would buy both the items if you had some wiggle room and went down $29 on the one. Never did I anticipate the reaction she gave. I also asked out if curiosity if she makes the prices and she said “No, my husband does” so I asked her if he would negotiate if he was present and she reiterated how he wouldn’t just to make her point solidified.Word of advice to the owner - if you’re in business to make money, especially in retail then everything has a price. The price you gave a used end table shouldn’t make or break a deal over $29. Your wife made you lose a sale of $300 and repeat customers. Never again!

I went into kings furniture and a bed set was Clearly marked as $99 and they would not honor said price. The owner said he didn’t have to honor it because it was a misprint and they wouldn’t make any money off of it. This was after I had already bought a whole living room set from them. So much for repeat business.

At first, I would have given this company a 5-star rating from the minute we walked into the door we were greeted by a sale person and he was very pleasant and my wife and I liked his personality. He helped us find the right flooring we were looking for. He came out to the house and measured everything and how many transition pieces we needed etc. We had our choice to either go with a grouted floor or non-grouted floor which is cheaper and my wife and I chose to go with a grouted floor because we thought it would look nice. Well we paid for our flooring and grout in Middle of March and paid it in FULL and they said it would be ordered right away and will be in 2 weeks. The next day the receptionist called and said the grout we chose was no longer available because they did not have the new updated grout sheet and it was discontinued by the manufacturer (no big deal we chose another color). Then the COVID hit and our order was held up in the Michigan warehouse for over a month. I did get a phone call from the receptionist if we wanted our flooring any sooner, we would have to pay an additional $150.00 so they could send a semi up to Michigan to retrieve it. I said I would wait until the governor lifted restrictions because we already paid enough for our flooring. Finally, after almost 2 months they call us and we get a scheduled date to do our flooring. They told me it should take up to 2 days possibly 3 to install it. (ok we were fine with that) The installer showed up to our home around 7:15 a.m. on the day he said he would be there. He went through the installing process with me and my wife and we told him about the grout and he said ok he would grout the corners and such and we would never see it. The installers tore the old flooring up in about 2 hours and they started preparing the flooring for the congoleum tile. We asked him if he wanted us to open windows, or leave the air on to help the adhesive they used cure and he said it should be fine the way we had it. The installer called me around 2:30 to let me know they were going to call it a day around 3:00 because the adhesive was not curing very well because of the humidity in the house and he would be back first thing in the morning to finish this. He wanted me to stop by and see the progress and when I got there, I was not happy because they DID NOT GROUT MY FLOORS. I told him he was supposed to grout it and he said it was not on his orders. Needless to say, we paid over $600 for labor for grout and an additional $90 for the grout. He called the company and they were calling me and asking and I quote "what can we do to make up for our mistake". Well it did not look bad not being grouted so my wife and I wanted our money back for the labor and grout (which we got back) and just said leave it we were ok with the way it was. The next day the installer showed up around 10:30 to finish this and he left around 5:30 p.m. I came home from work and he informed me that he did not have any transition pieces going from our hardwood floors to the new flooring and going to the hardwood floor into another room. They called to get our transition pieces ordered (3 weeks) and finally when the installer came out and tore up part of the new floor to install these it was the wrong part. They now have another piece on order and was supposed to overnighted and finished the next day. As I am writing this my project is still not complete and my floor still has not been caulked by the patio door. We are going on 3 months for this installation to be complete. I will update this when it is completed
