Even living in Toledo now I'm tentative to go anywhere other than B&Z. He's a great guy with great pricing that does great work. I never recommend anyone other than B&Z whenever anyone needs any work done on their car, easily the best shop I've been to. I could not possibly recommend this shop more. “On my way back from a funeral in Fort Wayne to Brighton Michigan, my Subaru finally failed just outside Defiance. On advice from a tow truck driver, he suggested Northwest Automotive. And I am so glad he did.I was able to work remotely with Tim, the owner, to replace my engine and cooling system, process the payment remotely, and get everything ready. He made this process so easy for me. All I needed was to drive down and pick the car up afterhours. I drove it last night and everything worked perfectly.The repairs were very affordable too. “Most honest place I've found in Defiance. Crew is funny and friendly, and they know their trade like it's basic math. They do their best to accommodate their customers too. I went with a broken wiper blade (of course on a rainy day), and they fixed it on the spot. New location is on second Street across from McDonald's.”

“Quick and easy service! Had my company truck in for an oil change. They offered up a discount for a better oil filter, free quart of oil in between oil changes if needed, topped off my washer fluid and installed two new wipers. Very friendly staff and was in and out in less than 10 minutes I would say. And 3 of those minutes were messing with the oil life system on the dash. Highly recommend them for your quick, in and out, and very well performed oil changes.”

“***Highly recommend this business*** Utilized these guys three times, first 2 times on different trucks. both had (costly) suspension issues, both times the improvement was noticeable. The third time I went back was for a brake line they had worked on I believe around 3 months before. They repaired it and waived the cost. This business is stellar and honest. If they advise you of a repair that is costly, they inform you of the benefits and hazards associated with your decisions. A special shout out to the gentleman Rick that works there. He embodies their culture of honesty and hard work. Highly recommend these guys.”
