“We are from Texas and we’re in town visiting. I called in an order for a specific cut on some beef short ribs for a Korean style BBQ dinner. I looked up butchers in Cincinnati and saw a link to Avril & Bleh. When placing my order they asked all the right questions about what I wanted and how I wanted it. We opened the meat when we got home and it was perfectly cut to our request. After cooking the meat it was tender and delicious and I couldn’t ask for a better experience from the butchers. Great job guys and when we come back into town, we know where to go.”
“Ken can get cuts of meat you can't typically find at large chains, and also stocks prime cuts of what you'd typically find choice or select at other places. I recently smoked a prime brisket I purchased here for family visiting from Arizona. Had the most tender flat of any brisket I've smoked.As long as The Butcher Block is open for business, I'll be supporting it.”
“my family and I have been going here for years. they make the best goetta around with a great flavor. the goetta is not too salty and not greasy.we also love the sausages, steaks and poultry.on every visit, we like to take home pin wheels. they are prepared steaks stuffed with cheese and mushrooms. they are so delicious cooked on a griddle or cast iron skillet.this year Eckerlin moved locations and added a meat tasting room. we're super excited about this and we tried it for the first time today. the burger was excellent and the fries were very well prepared. good beers on tap too.”
“The ground beef here is great. I've been using it to make tacos now for a few months. It tastes so much better than stuff bought at a grocery store or wholesale club. I have not tried the Italian sausage yet nor the streaks but I do plan on it soon enough. Especially the Italian sausages as I love a good alfredo with peppers and sausage. I will say that the chorizo is not what I would like but its hard finding that to taste like home without actually being in Mexico. Suffice to say these folks have made Taco Nights at my brothers a big hit and the meat really absorbs and brings out the spices. The ground beef fat just sizzles into a buttery perfection. Definitely gets a golden chefs kiss sticker.”

“Our family has been shopping at Humbert's for at least 55 years . We shop at the Finneytown location which is a bit of a drive from Oxford, but worth every mile & minute. Don't let the size of the building & crowd discourage you because the employees are quick, efficient and very friendly. Their meats,cheeses and all other products are outstanding and always fresh. Love the feel of old school and friendly atmosphere.”
“Wow! I am so very sorry I hadn't stopped here before two weeks ago! On my first visit, I purchased the Truffle & Tarragon chicken sausage, and I am not kidding—it's the best chicken sausage I've had in my whole life. Truthfully, it might actually be the best chicken I've had in my life! It was amazing! This week I tried the Buffalo Blue Cheese, and it was perfect. The right balance of hot sauce and blue cheese. Absolutely delicious. There are so many flavors to try, even more if you eat pork. Now I will say, if you stop by and think you'll get a warm and friendly greeting, you might not. My experiences are that they seem sort of bothered that you interrupted what they were doing. No worries, the sausage more than makes up for it! Make sure to stop here next time you're at Findlay!”

“I ordered 100pcs of fried chicken and 25pcs of baked chicken for a Repass for my Best Friend. I received on last Saturday No Baked chicken and I was Very upset and disappointed I do plan on calling today it was a very hard time for me. Putting that aside their chicken is Very good and much better to me than Kroger's or Meijer's.”
