I'm so very thankful we found YouthLand Academy for our daughter! The staff and teachers are super nice, friendly, and professional. My daughter has been attending YLA for about 5 months now and she is happy and thriving. They really do care about their kids and want the best for them. They will give you updates on your child milestones achievements and give advice/suggestions on how to help to meet those milestones if needed. The teachers are amazing and take the time to get to know all the kids. They make you feel like family. They are very acknowledgable and willing to help educate the parents when needed. (First time parent) so i need all the help that i can get lol. My daughter enjoys YLA and love all of her teachers. I highly recommend you check them out!

We absolutely loved the staff prior to changes but now half the staff has their kids enrolled their and that’s the focus from the staff is the kids of the employees. They seem more keen at manipulating people for funding than anything now. I would have trusted them like I did in the past but the staff has changed so much that half the time they call to have you pick up your child. They are short staffed as well. Delay reporting when others are ill. Messed up paperwork numerous times. There are truly a couple good staff members but they are not getting the support needed from the other staff. I literally witnessed the daycare cook having to take care of a crowed room of pre K kids and she even expressed frustration but was doing her best. It’s really sad that I’ve the last 6 years I’ve seen the quality and care deteriorated. They blame the children and parents over their own unprofessionalism. As of now I’d never put a child in there for reliable care which is sad considering they do have a couple rockstar teachers/staff but clearly are overwhelmed.

Where do I begin? For starters, my daughter has attended this center since June. I showed up to pick my daughter up from daycare this evening and they had all her belongings packed up waiting for me at the door, saying she isn't allowed back. They claimed my daughter has become has too many behavioral issues, with today's incident being that she climbed on top of something she wasn't supposed to. She JUST turned 4. There was NOT ONE behavior report presented to me. No documented pattern of incidents. No intervention meeting was ever held in regards to her misbehavior, as their rulebook so clearly states it must be. Every policy they have on when and how to deny a child from coming back to the center was disgracefully broken. They recently brought a team of behavior specialists to the center, and told me this evening that it is a requirement of the center that all kids MUST agree to behavior intervention in order to attend the center. The director Brycelynn has a serious attitude problem, and the only one worse is Dejah (not sure of spelling). In every attempt of mine to communicate, they are dismissive, rude and will even blankly just stare at you with no response. They have one teacher there named Miss. Audrey who is the most patient, kind person I've ever met. She is truly too good for that center and deserves much better than the environment she works in. I truly hope to see a response from Youthland Academy about my review as I caught 90% of today's interaction on voice record and would love to discredit any rebuttle they may have. Will also be contacting their superiors on the disrespect and neglect as I witnessed a similar situation happen with another parent recently which makes it obvious I'm not the only one this is happening to. I have an example of a recent review of behavior, noting that she does have some concerns and that improvement have been made, quoting that "she has shown great improvement".
