THE BEST OF THE BEST. I truly cannot say enough positive things about Mrs. Young. You wouldn't know it by looking at it, but a ton of work went into this dress. The hip seams had to be taken out a size and re-seamed, and the straps and length had to be shortened. She also completely re-worked the train and added the tulle fabric over top of the original crepe train to make this dress one of a kind. It fit like an absolute glove. She had me come in to several fittings to assure that everything was done just right. I truly believe she is the best in the area!!! The price was quite reasonable for everything that was done to this dress. I have and will continue to recommend her to all my friends and family!

Ms. Young was able to help me with ALL of my alteration needs, and honestly there was quite a few of them. She was super kind and friendly, and was able to help me with my very short window of time (about a month and a half). She was the best and everything turned out perfectly!

I unfortunately received my dress from the shop I ordered it from later than anticipated leaving a very small window of time to get all the alterations I needed done before my wedding day. Young’s was absolutely phenomenal to work with and went above and beyond to ensure my dress was perfect before the big day. I had my final fitting today and was absolutely blown away! I would 100% recommend Young’s for all your alteration needs.Service: Alterations

I am so very disappointed and angry about how my alterations went at Youngs. Honestly, I think I deserve a refund after all I went through with my wedding dress. Mrs. Young is a very kind woman, but my experience was beyond terrible, and took my wedding dress from something I adored to something that was “good enough” and a major source of stress.I was never given a quote on how much the alterations would cost. $690 and six fittings later and my dress still doesn’t fit for my wedding day. Below is my timeline and the specific things that were done. This is my first experience with dress fittings, and I don't think this is how it is supposed to go.____________________________Got my wedding dress in January 2023 for my wedding August 19th. It was off the rack, last of its design, and two sizes too large. I contacted Young’s Bridal in February, described the dress and the alternations required and asked when I should book the first fitting, keeping in mind closer to the wedding is better in case I change sizes as the dress is strapless. They booked me for July 10th and assured me this was plenty of time.July 10, 12:00pm: First Fitting. Found that the dress was complex (many layers) and so the hem needed to be shortened by taking the dress up from the waist. Additionally needed cup inserts in structured bra and dress taken in at the sides. Scheduled next fitting for July 25th.July 25th, 12:00pm: Dress is taken apart but nothing else is done. While there, skirt is pinned up to measure for hem, and the sides are pinned in and marked. I am asked to return that afternoon so they can finish pinning the dress and double check the fit.July 25th, 3:30pm: I come in to double check the fit. Next fitting is scheduled for Aug 7th. I am nervous as we are approaching my wedding date, but I am assured that everything except the bustle will be done, and then it’s a quick easy bustle.Aug 7, 3:00pm: The dress is not done. Sides and waist (i.e., hem) have been taken in. However, the outer layer is still torn off and there are no cup inserts in the bra. Additionally, we note that the bust area of the dress is still too large for me despite the sides being taken in. I am assured that she will take in the bust, add the cups, and finish the bustle. She also cannot schedule me again until Aug 15th even though my wedding is the 19th. Her schedule is booked up. At this point, I think someone who didn’t need their dress in a week should have been bumped. I am panicked about the close date but take some deep breaths and hope it will all be okay.Aug 15, 3:00pm: My MOH comes with me to learn how to do the bustle. My dress STILL DOES NOT FIT! The cups were added, and the bustle done, but nothing was done about the large bust. She decides to take in the dress again but from the back this time and believes this will fix the problem. Says I can come back for final try-on on Thursday (my wedding is Saturday). She does not charge for this last take-in. I leave in tears. P.S. Nothing else has made me over stressed or cry about this wedding.Aug 16, 3:00pm: I get a call in the morning saying I can actually come get the dress today. But at a very specific time and my MOH was unavailable to go with me. At this point I have to take the dress no matter what. It was taken in at the back and was now very tight. The cups were not gaping like they had been, but it still isn’t a great fit. I’ll have to use additional inserts in the cups. I pay my $690, take my dress, and be on my way.Aug 19th: Wedding Day. I get into my dress, take one deep breath, and the hook at the top breaks off and zipper comes down because dress is too tight. Luckily, I had a bridesmaid who was able to sew my zipper to my dress to prevent it coming down any further, but the back was clearly not zipped up all the way. The cups on the inside were also not sewn in all the way and I had to use double sided tape to stick the cup to the dress so it couldn’t be seen from a top angle.I will add that I did not change weight at all. Weighed myself and literally no changes.Service: Alterations

I went to Svetlana at Young's Bridal and Alteration for alterations to my wedding dress last October. She did an absolutely fantastic job and I would recommend their services to anyone! They were very quick to get me scheduled for an appointment after I had been told by multiple other dress shops that they were fully booked through October. It was such a relief to get an appointment with them so fast. I had my first fitting in August and it was very clear from the start that Svetlana knew exactly what she was doing and was going to take great care with my dress.I picked up my dress four weeks later and the alterations were perfect! It was such a relief to have the dress ready to go a month before the actual wedding. It was also very reasonably priced to have all the alterations done. I'm not sure how many future alterations I will need done, but I know I will be going to Young' Bridal!

I purchased my dress from Lillian’s Bridal (and had a great experience) and was given the recommendation to utilize Young’s Alterations there. I purchased a dress off the rack that fit almost perfectly. I needed some pads added to the bust and a bustle. Simple alterations, but at my first fitting I had asked about adding boning to prevent bunching under the bust. I was told by both seamstresses assisting me that the only way to fix that was to lose weight. Granted, I can stand to lose a few pounds, but that is never something someone wants to hear. Especially, a bride in her wedding dress. If I would have had time to purchase another dress, I probably would have because I felt very self conscious in my dress after that. While they did a good job working on my dress and working with my schedule, I would definitely not return for any alterations in the future. For what it’s worth, I do think I looked pretty good on my wedding day despite not being able to lose any weight.Service: Alterations

Ms. Young and her team did such a great job with my wedding dress!! After the first round of alterations there were a few places that needed a little more work and her team completely exceeded my expectations when I tried it on the final time. It fit like a glove on my wedding day and was everything I had hoped it would be!Service: Wedding gown alterations

Two of my daughters and I went here for alterations for my other daughters wedding. The alterations were expensive. When we picked up the dresses all of the alterations were not completed. My dress was only partially altered leaving it to not be wearable. I was told by the very rude associate that I was just wearing it for one day and that I bought the dress two sizes too large. That is not true, but a professional tailor/seamstress would have mentioned that and that they couldn’t ever get it to fit correctly at the initial appointment. I was told that they do thousands of dresses and don’t have any complaints. Funny that the very next weekend I met someone else that had a terrible experience there. I left thinking I would throw the dress out. Luckily I found a skilled tailor that fixed the dress. Avoid this place. It is expensive and they are rude.Service: Alterations

I've had two dresses tailored here and had great experiences both times! The second time I went for a hem and they helped show me where the dress could be brought in at the waist to address my concern about how I looked in the dress. Timely and affordable!Services: Alterations

I had a wonderful experience with Young altering my wedding dress!! She was extremely thorough and straightforward. She even made some comments about how she would do this and that (I don't remember the specifcs) to help save me some money instead of a more costly approach. I had a rather large bustle made with multiple layers, and she made sure to give my mom a lesson on how to teach my bridesmaids how to fasten it properly. I had my dress hemmed, sides taken in, and the bustle added all for a fair price especially given the high quality work. I also only had one fitting, and she had finished everything perfectly the first time around! I would definitely recommend anyone in the area to come see Young!Service: Alterations

When going in for my original fitting, the dress had trouble zipping. The dress itself was a very tight waist band and was also made for someone that is about 5 foot 6 and I am a solid 5 foot on a good day which means the typically lining of the dress didn't align with me. When fitting into the dress she made several comments about my weight that made me feel really bad about myself. She told me numerous times that I need to lose weight or I won't fit in the dress by the wedding date. When I picked up the dress for the final time, the dress zipped up no problem with the exception of pulling up the girls some minor adjustments. She decided to make a comment that I lost .2 (notice the POINT) pounds and giggled to her co worker. I felt terrible. I was embarrassed and quite frankly felt totally humiliated. I already have body image issues and she did not make me feel any better... I will never return to this place again. Even if I lose the weight she insists that I lose...

I called for a hem on a briadsmaids dress and some alterations on another piece. They require 2 weeks for any hemming and said that they only do hemming.
