Excellent customer service. I purchased furniture there 10 years ago and needed help with a broken chair leg. Denise from Woodcraft found the original invoice and was able to place an order for a new chair leg. Great place to shop!

In the shop with my toddler and I grabbed a live center for a lathe. Turned out to have a Huge burr on the side which sliced my thumb open. When I brought it to the front, the workers barely stopped yapping with other folks for long enough to grab me a bandage. No apology. No compensation. They didn't even say they'd fix it. When I handed them the center, the guy almost cut himself on it.Then the owner calls me about my review and argues that the huge burr on the side is supposed to be there because he firmly believes I somehow cut myself on the cone... unprofessional and very disappointing.

The employees of Woodcraft of Dayton are amazing. My husband wanted to take up woodworking. He's shopped here off and on through the years and now is getting serious about this hobby. My parents wanted to give him items for Christmas. I went in the store in early November and talked to Tony. He was a huge help. Tony told me to bring in the wish list and he'd get it taken care of for us. I went back the following week with my parents and the wish list. Tony took the list and went around the store finding everything for us. My parents and I had no idea what we were looking for. I know if we would have been at a big box store we would have been lost, overwhelmed, and frustrated. Tony made the process almost as easy as giving a gift card. He ordered the items that weren't in the store. All of the employees were very kind and helpful. I'd give 10 stars if Google would let me.

Stopped in for an item on sale, and to look around. The salespeople were wonderful and not pushy, informed us to let them know if they could help find anything. Always a lot of interesting items in the store.

Super friendly and helpful staff. This place is like the best toy shop ever for carvers and wood workers. UPDATE: They now only carry minimal Pfeil gouges in stock despite being exclusive US distributor. Cheaper and better to order from Canada if you know what you want. No longer top place for woodcarvers only for machine woodworkers.

They have a lot of stuff you aren't going to find anyplace else locally. Everything from finishes to shop accessories. Staff is nice and helpful
