Dayton Mall is the largest super-regional shopping destination in the Dayton, Springfield metropolitan area. Dayton Mall is open seven days a week, providing a comfortable indoor space for walking, shopping, and dining, even on hot days. While the mall may not have the same hype as in the past, it remains a popular destination for sports enthusiasts, with a variety of stores like Dick's Sporting Goods, as well as other national retailers and local shops.
Like any other mall it's is a definite dying mall but it has a few good stores

I hadn't been into the Dayton Mall for about 4 years. It wasn't bad at all. If you want a place to go to Church, take a long, long walk indoors or just do some showrooming before you hit buy now on your online retailer of choice.... This is truly a decent place to do all those things.

There are still quite a few active stores like JCPenney Macy's Dick's sporting goods. All those big ones Victoria's Secret bath& Body. A lot of food stores. Also a lot of places you can buy OSU gear and sports teams memorabilia. It's nice to walk here when it's super hot out or you don't have AC.
