This thrift store is great I always come here when I want to go thrifting, everything is color coded which is great and they always have a wide variety of things. (Music is always wack but that's okay) anyway this place is lit ???

The prices are too high now, prices are the same from other stores with new merchandise, not a big deal anymore.

I have been going to this thrift store my entire life (I am 40 now) and I used to love it, but the prices are INSANE. $80 for one dress at the thrift shop is ridiculous. I fill up my cart at other thrift stores, and just give away whatever I don’t end up loving- but when I go here, I really leave so many things behind because the prices are too high.

If you're reading this, could you please help me pick my jaw up off the ground?
The prices on clothes (I didn't peruse the other departments, but Village is pretty worthless beyond its clothing sections) are insultingly high. Want a men's button up shirt? Get ready to pay $14+. And that's not Abercrombie & Fitch or Old Navy. I'm talking "Who the heck is this?" brands. T-shirts? $10+. A hoodie? Even old high school ones will set you back $10 on the very lowest end, with most being $12-15 and up.
There was a time when Village Thrift was a great combo of selection and price. Not any more. I'm giving them two stars solely because there is a better than average clothing selection, and as I understand it they do have %50 off sales. My advice is to avoid it unless or until they are having one.

The clothes selection in this store is very appealing. While some items like shorts and shirts were priced pretty well, I could find just as many things that were very overpriced. I accidentally stumbled upon the place during a 50% off day. I was excited to see some electronics that peeked my interest but I was shocked to find out that the prices were at or above retail AFTER the discount. If I wanted to pay retail prices for used electronics I would buy them from a place that would clean them and give me an actual warranty or have a return policy. Stores like this are really cool but it's a shame whoever is in charge of pricing is definitely concerned with profits over quality of the items and their customers.

Honestly, everything is donated and they are selling items at eBay prices. I would only go when they have a 50% off sale or more. They are so disconnected with reality of what a thrift store is, it’s pretty sad. Shame everyone out here to exploit others these days.

The owners of this establishment are genuinely terrible people. Reselling pieces they get for free for hundreds of dollars. Directly profiting off the generosity of other people and making clothing inaccessible to those who need it. Genuinely despicable business that does not deserve the light of day from any decent person.

Expect to pay way over retail price for used goods. Insanely overpriced.

The prices are way too high now and then you are not allowed to take the carts outside for people who needs them
